Hey Meo you here !
As you were not at the start of FranceGP, I'd like to point you that it was much more lagg than what we got at INDY,
I mean we had ghosts during all first stint at FRANCE since most of us retired,
that's not the same than USA GP where we ghosted 4/5 laps as you were disconnected MEO.

About the count or rerace I agree with you FERDI if it's not a rerun it has to be counted, My preference for a rerun of course if the ghosts are solved.

But DP if you really want no rerun well...no problem for me let's just say it's a MICHELIN problem to BERNIE

Your the BOSS DP you're choice is the right choice

yes and he allready did!

these technical failors are like rain in real.

never heard a racer crying about a rerace because it started to rain or that a race did not count at all ... :?: ... lol

I know it is hard to live with it, specialy when it was no fault of any one to be angry about hehe ... but thats the way it is!

... have fun!

Meo,

even if I like you a alot, your argument seems to be wrong for me.
Rain belong to racing not ghost nor Lag.
A bit of lag or ghost is "acceptable" but all the race of ghost and lag is not.
If it rain you put wet tires but if we get ghost, what do you do?

It is not that simple Meo :D

I will never complain if I break my car under rain until It would be my fault only ( you should adapted you racing style to rain if it s raining) but If I break my car because of Lag and ghost ( game synchonisation) what could I do? Is it my fault?

Imagine if Shumi had passed trought Alonso at imole hehhhehehehhe :P
You think that this would have been accepted :D:D
Thats just to explain you my view of what happened :D

I send you 100 kisses :P

ok then the race counts.

cu tomorow,.. can we test a bit earlyer.

And plz make a test schedule so you know what you want to test.
ANd do short races of not more then 5 laps,... more then enough to see if the server can handle it or not. right??

Server will show up at 19H30, if we are enough to start testing at 20H CET...
then we'll start trying short races

Is that better like this?

I find it quite comical that the "missing sign" argument keeps coming up. I mean, yes, it would have been nice of the person that knocked the sign down to mention it before the race but on the other hand, if you use such temporary markers as reference points for your driving/braking, you're just asking for trouble and basically deserve whatever happens to you when it goes away. It's not much harder to find more permanent reference points (i.e. track texture, curbs, trackside ads, fence, etc.)...

Yes using 100m signs is risky, I personnaly don't use them

Mag likes them and he's probably right to point that too.

About comical I'm not sure.... :D

Yes I believe that too but Last sunday it was not for fun.
I even wonder where is the fun in last race? just like a real F1 race in Indy....

I hope we solve this pb of ghost/Lag etc.. for the good of NAR cause it wouldnt feel rigth without Mag or other who could be fed up with those problems.

Cyu guys on track wihtout ghost that time

Well if you guys realy want a rerun then do it.

Just one thing are we gonna rerun USA also then?? and where there more races with lag problems i wasnt there??? we run them also then.

I dont mind the only thing i hate and i never expected to come in this kind of situation because ive become boss with other intention then making this kind of desicions. For the ones who dont know,.. ive become boss to try to let euro div survive  because its was basicly dead end last year!!!

No matter what i decide there will be always people not happy with the desicion and thats what i hate the most.

A rerun is not fair because in the past meo had problems at usa,.. then we should have rerun that one also. Thats why i stand with mine desicion no rerun. If this results in that mag leaves , someone im verry thankful for that he hosted all races,.. someone i helped him alot in the past 8) ,... if he will leave because of this desicion then im off to and someone else can take over mine tasks.

And someting else, mag if you think that i dont want to rerun because of those 10 points i scored :D then youre totaly wrong with that

edit: lol whaa im typing so long for this and in the meanwhile mag decides to end this topic  lool

Greetz

Ok, i dont want to talk or add anything about your last race. Discussion of subject up is close.

This must be clear!

NA situation VS Euro on lag problem...
Your problem you Euro having right now, we solve it in NA at 2nd race of season. I know you coundt do it at that time, cause Mark make you guys go on rh04 with his 100mgb server... now hes no more there and the server is gone after few race. :x I feel bad for you guys, cause its making little sad situation.

We split division to max 9 drivers. Then we all know we cant have all driver in race for all season. We also tryed and tryed and now know that we cant run more than 9 driver in a race, unless lag occur, and even with 9, little not important lag still occur.

We are total of around 18 drivers, less than 9 driver we merge division and more than 10 driver, we split on respective division.

Now that you guys are at middle season, splitting is bit late... So unless a good server is found, and even with one, dont forget that 10 drivers or more will let you in bad situation.

NA problem last race (LAG)
Now one thing about last race, even us in NA we had bad lag (or was it only me?) like we never had, even with 5 drivers in race. So maybe all network web was congested or whatever we all have slow response from game. so hope next race will be ok, just prey. One thing in rules say that lag is our personnal problem, if server go donw after X%, race is over or rerace.

With any dicision taken to rerace or leave it, few will get advantage and other will be disavantage. So Dutch will take the final decision and all your discussion were appreciate, but if some discussion get too bad or too madly set to another driver, please use the PM to say bad words. But also in other hands we need to know how all driver feels in general and how things are going, cause we in NA dont race in your server, so we cant see in race what happend, and these discussion help us to see how things are going in your side of world.

1. have fun is here in forum.
2. Race is set here to high level of competition, so fun is place in 2nd in a race. You know what i mean...

For next year, if we can run on rfactor, im 90% chance able to have a 2nd computer open almost 24h/days to let a server open to Euro or NA for race or practice session. So Never forget that next year, we will forget all those present problem. So take this year as a practice for next one and this year nightmare of racing will end with this actual season.

If discussion is continued after this post, remind to not come back on France race or up discussion, please.

Have fun at Sylverstone, i wish it to all NAR driver.
Wow im making a women of me with all those word...

bye

hm, i didn't notice any lag in the NA Div 2 race, although Mike complained about lag, but i saw none, which is a good thing, hopefully it was just some little bug that won't show up at Silverstone for any of us :P
I may be slow, but at least I'm consistantly slow !
