WHAT IS THIS..........................................
FIRST using so mutch time i gues 300 pract lap over summer
then this a restart then a new host who cant open a game, then the old server one more time, here we go
take care in first corner dont hit other cars....pffff why it was a ghost race no matter how hard u tryed u could not take other cars out just drive thrue them. omg. then we came to the 3 or 4th last corner ups there was no signd there what is this, cant people tell the host that they tokk the 100 meter signd in warmup, so he have a chance to restart the server
if any of u who finish the race are glad with the result..... from this lagging ghost race i must laugh my ass of. remember its a no aids league, this race was like driving with aids ................bye

I didnt have too much problems but the pings were really high for shore.

As i been networking and testing a bit on dedicated servers, in my opinion we need a f1c mod with a dedicated server, and we need it fast<on my 800mHZ old pc as a dedicated GTR server, i had up to 16 races on the startgrid and no lagg at all>.

I dont know where i got it but i have a mod for f1c wich has a dedicated server.
its irl cars on ovals, and i dont have the knowhow to rewrite the exe and make a proper mod of it so we can use the dedicated server and still race f1 challenge cars on season circuits.
Maybe the creator of NA mod <who obviously must be a wizzkid> can help us out

I would be VERY interested in having a copy of that mod with the dedicated server. I've been looking for it for more than a year and it was taken offline everywhere I looked...

Don't hold your breath though, I believe it will be much easier to change game (GTR/GT Legends, rFactor, whatever) than to make the dedicated server work for F1C...

Hi guys,

I understand you Mag.
From my part I didnt suffer of any pb in fact but I got to know that My team mate Bigmac had pb of ghost with car passing trought him.
My race was quiete good except it was impossible for me to try anything on Mark because his car was going out-track all the time and jumping from rigth to left in corners. I ve decided to wait and drive safely but 10 laps before ends I got a Game synchro while entering a curve and after that I just find my self with a destroyed car. At this point, Mark was 3 sec ahead of me and Drago was 56 sec behind . So you can understand I was fustrated about that race too.
After I talk with Mac and watch his replay I could understand his frustration too.......
Anyway, I know that would be unfair to Mark, Drago, and the other who managed to make the finish the race so it is up to them but Would it be possible to cancel the race and race it next week or an otherday?
At the same time, I would lov to know where is our server until neither Mag or Mac was the race server at the beginning.
If we dont have server we have to find a solution to host without ghost!!
Finnally I want to say to Klazz that you are a great driver!!!
When I Lapped you you let me pass ,preventing me to loose time.
you did it with lot of "Class" and pofessionalism!!!

thx very much,you had a great timing coming up on my tale @ hairpin so i could easaly move to the outside let u pass.
I hope i am able too handle every blue flag so smooth as that one hahaha
and offcourse id like to rerace, but for me, i ruined my save 3rd position myself 6 laps befor the finish as i pushed the throttle too hard on a fast exit and ran off my frontwheel..

cant wait for the next race, i hope we manage to do it on a dedicated server though as i think that would help a lot

I absolutely agree with you all guys this race was a pure lag nightmare!!

@mag : I agree that 100m signs taken out in warm-up should have been mentioned to restart the server,
I agree seeing car going thrue them is not in NAR spirit, we are not used to see that here,
but keep in mind cars are mispositioned by lag and probably the cars going thrue yours
don't see you where you really are...that's a fact

I agree we have a boring ghost/lag problem since Indy race...
We checked with drago what could be the problem as it seems he brings in some connection troubles,
and we finally found (after race) that he had set on throttle upstream in his PLR (according to website!!!)
this has been tested many times and we decided not to use.

So plz all check that you don't have throttling code enabled in your PLR.
Settings should be as this (under multiplayer section) :

Throttling="0" // enable throttling code

Throttle Upstream Override="-1"

As default values

Anyway rerun of this race or not I'd like us all to do a test with 8/9 cars in this wednesday, then we see what we do as this is not fun at all...

We'll decide what we do : split servers,kick racers, no way to continue like that...
NB:8/9 cars should not be a problem with our actual servers connections.

Confirm guys you'll come on wednesday and feel free to say what you think about it now...

my plr was not ok but i didnt know this before.i changed al my plr & backups and hope it makes a difference.
i like to test as much as possible so ill start hosting short races.
i dont think i can manage to do a test wednesday as i think ill be sailing then.

thats why I say we should all live in 1 street hihi the dutch houses are really great with the big windows in the front ... imagine there a nice simulator and all connected to race without internet to use woooooooooooohooooooooooooooooow nice racing, barbecue, beers and joints lol our kids would play and grow up together hehe ourl lovers would have others to cry with about us, we maniacs would have klaaz's anne as nurse

hmmm maybe a nice beach at the sea or a lake there hehe some forrest with a waterfall for fishing and to swim ... hmmmmmmmmmm lol my mind is still in holiday and dreaming hahaha.

Yes Mag WE could have asked you but we would still have ghosts in your server too as the problem isn't on servers side,
remember we had ghosts at INDY,in YOUR server and we were 5/6 i can't remember really how many we were.

Anyway we can test yours too wednesday Mag, but it won't solve the problem...for sure.

I'm very sorry

for what happened in France race, and even if i tested my connection many time,discovering nothig wrong,it seems that each time i join in a session lag joins with me.
It seems to happen more often since Indy(my first race).
As i check with mac maybe part of the problem could be my wrong .plr file setting.
I hope this will solve the problem,as i will test it with an online server today (and wednsday with you).
I like very mutch driving with you but if this will not solve the situation i will not race more with you guys till things will get better(just some practice to have fun with you).

i found the sign,... it was stuck under mine front wing when i checked the car today

As for this debacle:

I cant satisfy people with mine desicion about this race, 2 got affected by the situtation and 3 finshed and handled the sitution,... although im in favour to let this race not count i only dont know how the others think about it. But one thing is for sure, no rerun.

About the missing sign, well it was for all the same and i didnt even noticed it was missing must have happend in the warmup session i think but it would be nice if you take out a sign to say that to everyone, we could have rejoined the session or restarted it.

Then about mag why we didnt said someting when he offered his server, wel im sry i didnt even noticed you asked,.. i probably missed that somehow. sry for that

and like mac says we still would have had problems since this problem looks no server related,..... i hope we can fix this shit now because im getting fed up of it. and like mac came up with is that drago plr wasnt set right hopefuly thats the problem wll see wednesday,... bah im not happy that you guys choosen wednesday lol,.. brondby - ajax will be played that nite

Not count?? well all drivers had the same problem, some are lucky and some don't, that's racing!
When mag started to chat I lost my front wing, well that's my own fault I just had to consentrate (wich I didn't).
So my opinion is: lets count this race or rerun.
