Monza cutting track

Post by Flow »

I woud like to know if this over turning curve is tolerate or not. Noting on it in NAR about it. Is it let to the game warning to judge or is it not tolerate. If not what do we do if somewone in the qualification lap put 4 wheels off, take off sec or position? hummm.... this make a difference in lap time...!!!

Please let me know...

The rule is all for wheel on the track INSIDE the curb. Its offcourse impossible to stay inside 100% all of the race. Its ofcourse harder on a qualifying lap, what we usually do when someone cuts to much track on a Q lap is to put them in the back of the grid. But then we have the question, how much is "cutting a lot".....? Cause there is sometimes a small lag that can fool the others where the car seem to slip further out than it actually are......hard decision.

At this point (corner) my oppinion is to stay all 4 wheels at track. Why? well, because the lag problems, if someone have all wheels off track he will be penalized.

(It's just an idea  :) )

well, on the track version we are using you will lose mega time cutting the track there anyway, there is gravel there instead of tarmack, also, is anyone else noticing a huge drop in FPS on this version of Monza? i usually get around 90 - 100 fps on all tracks, but on this one, i only get about 60 !!! check out the attatched pic.

I even tried lowering my settings, getting rid of Anti Aliasing, and Anisotropic Filtering, and am STLL getting only between 60-65 FPS with this version of the track

Yeah I agree Steve, thats a place you don't want to go off. The sand and gravel there is a killer. I dont think we will have a problem with cutting track there. In fact, the only corner I can think of that we might have a problem at is the entry to that chicane. Most of the other corners have high curbs that make it difficult to cut, but the left hand entry to that chicane is pretty flat and is easy to run over and make it a straight line.

What does it care,... if you go wide there or not,... its for everyone the same,.. if you loose time there others will to.

The rule says 4 tyres on track and curb is track,... si i think its pretty clear i guess
