Hah! Got your attention, didnt I hehe....

I know there are a couple of us in NAR here that are playing music and I wanna tell you that i bought myself a new guitar today. Well it isnt new, it was a used Danelectro DC-3 re-issue (made in Korea *doh*)......I got it for approx $200 US......I wanna ask you one thing STEVE (or Erick perhaps?), cause you are from what I know a guitar dude that perhaps knows a thing or two about these things. Danelectro.....is it good or bad.....I mean, in Sweden they are more or less unknown, you cant even get these guitars here anymore. I really like the tone to it, its not a Gibson or Fender sound to my ears, and its ultra light (the body is actually part plywood, hehe) and looks really....hmm...strange. Opinions?

It would be cool if you music playing dudes wanna write a list of your gear. Always fun to know what kind of instruments you play. I can start.....

Yo Killa, i've never played a Danelectro, but i have seen them in stores around here, kinda cool looking guitars, love the "lipstick" pickups, i know a guy that has one, and he likes it, says it has a unique sound.

Amp: Line 6 AX2/212 tubetone digital modeling amp, it has settings for all kinds of classic old amps, from old 50's Fender Bassman, to the newer Mesa Boogie dual rectifier amps like metallica uses, and anything you can think of inbetween, 3 diff marshall amps, several different soldano's, 3 types of Vox, AC-15, and AC-30, plus AC-30 top boost, i LOVE my amp, it is awesome !!

hmm.....perhaps noone is interested in my rambling.....but since Im the dictator I dont care....

ok.....Steve, Limpy, Erick.....or anyone of you guitar-freakz here....I have placed a bid on a Lovetone Big Cheese pedal (check it out and listen to it here: http://www.lovetone.com ). I offered him aprox $150-160 US....
the thing is I havent tried it and I will probably not be able to try it before I buy it (IF I buy it...) cause these pedals cant be ordered in Sweden (what a surprise) but I found a used one....

I want it to sound like Nel Youngs guitar does in the song "Hey hey, my my".....if this makes me come close I will buy it......from what I hear on Lovetones website it sounds pretty awesome.....not that I know that much about fuzz pedals....

ooooooooooooo, i like it Killa !!!! hm, that seems VERY expensive to me though, i think there is a fuzz pedal still in production called the "big muff" if i'm not mistaken, might want to check ebay and see if anyone is selling one of those m8

Hmmm, well, i looked on Ebay, and saw the big cheese there, and they wanted 300 us for it, so if you can get it for 160, i say go for it m8 !!!!

I was looking at some reviews on Harmony central too and they said they paid $200-240 US so I hope I can get this one. Im starting to wonder why I asked if he could go lower, he wanted 180 and I offered 150-160......it was probably cheap already.....shit, I hope he answer soon.....ehe.....

oh by the way, Im still in love with my "new" Danelectro guitar I bught 3 days ago....that must be a good sign
