To admin : question about Magny-court

Post by Flow »

Hi admin, is it legal to run all the way close to the wall on the start-finish lane, on the green surface? Sorry for my Paint work, i didnt want to open photoshop

Ca we follow the red line?
or we have to follow the yellow line and use the full surface at end of white/red vibe?

I was using full surface (red line on pict) and a driver ask me if my line was legal, so i want to know and make shure that all are on same knowledge of this legal or not legal zone to drive on.
I vote for full surface, anyway the wall on the right will take care of you if you go too far  this may avoid less review by admin.

As for the fast SS, i know that the green surface is not part of track we have to stay 2 wheels on track, and white/red vibe are part of track.

Waiting for an anwser, thank you.

As in the past, you are allowed to drive on the green stuff on the right of the pit straight ONLY. You can go with 4 wheels in the green there, up to the wall if you want, once you're past the end of the last chicane's red-white curb. So the track limit is pretty much like your yellow line, although our rules do allow you to go outside the track/curb as long as 2 wheels touch it at all times.

During the real-life qualifications this morning, the FIA warned the teams that at the exit of the last chicane, they had to keep the wheels touching the red-white curbs (just like the usual NAR rules) or risk having their lap cancelled...

Please note that this exception to our usual rules is for the pit straight ONLY. You are NOT allowed to go wide (or cut) in the green stuff anywhere else on the track.

Thanks alot, for me its clear. For any driver, if its not clear, please ask for more precisions.

For any new driver, if you go too wide outside the white-red vibe, lift off trotle to loose what was gain. It must be clear to admin on replay that you release trottle to lost what was gain by cutting or going too wide at any place around the track.

Yeah, but probably that the green part is PAINTED and that paint must be kind of slipery and all durty, so running on it would just put dirt on tires for no good reason. At start, many went wide on that part, but after that all stayed on tharmak. I changed my driving line to not go on the green, it is not giving me advantage, but at end it is little easyer to enter T1 if you move little on the right before turning left.

If you want to use it Mario, you can, those are 1 of few limited place that NAR put a special condition. This is to alow admin less review after race, and its done when no gain in time is taken, unless admin would not alow it.

like i said i watch real f1 this morning and no one was doing that so for me its 100% sur that i wont use that racing line
i dont care what position i will finish as long as i stay on the real racing line :D

You will probably do the pole, i can pace your lap time, but not on 1st or 2nd lap, tire need to eat up, only after 2-3 laps, i start to get in 15<s
