Welcome back, f1motion! 8)

Make sure you practice a bit because I think you'll be surprised by how much some of the NA drivers have improved since you last raced with us!

We're using the latest rFactor (v1250) with the f1_champions v1.06a mod (made by world famous mod-maker "limpster") and modified physics (ISI BMW07) and custom tracks (made by world famous track-maker "SteveB"), but I'm sure there's a sticky post around detailing everything (you can also look at my "server of the day" post once you recover access to the Private forum).

Well, the "when" is for an admin to decide...

In the meantime, I'd invite you to have a look at our much improved website at www.noaidsracing.com. There you will see the (mostly) current lineup (click on "drivers" at the top), the different championship standings and stats along with the current rules (some have changed since you last raced with us).

Big Thanks

Post by f1motion »

Thanks for the big welcome everyone...I've decided to take the Williams
spot as that blue car reminds me of what I should do when I will see that blue flag waving to me ,lol...Well for the first time I tried out RFACTOR last night (without your mods)and it is truly awsome... The experience was quite diffrent than F1C, I would discribe it like, Stepping off of an old rusty and dizzing carnaval ride onto a skateboad and having a titan missle shuved up your ass by a 80"s gameshow host and launched into the side of a summers eve billboard...I was most impressed with the graphics and suprised
at how well my modest pc ran it..I will hopefully (with the help of my good friend Steve B) have all the mods installed properly and be practicing tonight...As this sim is more difficult than F1C and seeing that I haven't
been in an F1 car in two years I will not be participating in this sunday's race, I will instead shoot for the next race...Thanks again to you all...John

There is only one week between this race and the next one (back-to-back races) so you might want to start your training at Spa already (you might try to bother SteveB to give you the track before the rest of us  ).

As for your PC's performance, you should not have too much problems as long as we're running on SteveB's tracks as they're generally poor-PC-friendly and still good-looking. 8)

Also I beleave that Killa has gave you acsess to our private forum if you still do not see it let me or Killa know.
