Hmmm, 9 finishers, and i was #9 LOL, had some fun battles, and a loooooooooooooooooong pit stop that ended my chances of any points.
I may be slow, but at least I'm consistantly slow !

Ok, this is not an easy one. First, i want to say that even if i win the race, the king of this race was Aaron. My start was not that good. I start 3rd, and i was feeling i was side by side with other driver, and lost them in mirror, and i was doing more than needed to avoid any contact. This left me in slowing down and loosing position from 3rd to 6th. I even had a contact with aaron at T2. Dont know who fault it was, but sorry aaron. Just like at France, the battle for lead of race went between 3-5 drivers for many many laps. it is now so mutch more close between driver in race, i think drivers are making less spun with these new physic (including me). Spanky and Hitman was doing great, and Juan was stable in front, not shure what hapend to other, i had a red spot in my face all night...

I was in aaron's mirror for all his 1st stint, 'bravo' you were unreachable, i was pushing like hell, destroying my tire only to keep up with you. I had 2 laps of fuel more than you (i always carry more, just in case) and 2 extra laps empty made me pit out just in your face. That was so exciting. Then, i had aaron in my mirror, that was not easy, i start to be nervous and did thiny mistake cause i was shure you would of pass me, you were theoricaly faster than me. At one corner, i mist my braking point, and theire you go! Aaron took enough gap 4 sec. to his 2nd pit, and with my bad tire, i coundt catch up even staying 4 extra lap, i pit out right in is ass for the second pit. From there, Aaron was mirror driving, i was in his ass with time fluctuating between .5sec to 1.5sec.

The unbeleivable final : Aaron and me finished side by side on the finish line. Aaron did a little mistake at last curve of last lap (race that he clearly lead over me) and i had more power accellerate, and he did clean move to block me, but i was preparing myself for that moment 30 laps before, and luckily, it went in last lap.

I was so happy, and in same time, so sorry for aaron, this was a complete steal from me to him. Aaron, you kick my ass like hell, and this is a race to remeber for me, not for the final, but for the chalenge i felt all the way, it was a real race from lap 1 to lap 60 with you! Dam, it is too bad that we are not close in championship point, i may share some with you, and start on same level, this would of been a close end of season.

#1; 1h22:10.007, (L23, L46) - Flow
#2; 1h22:10.055, (L21, L42) - Aaron

Gap at finish is +0.048, need a photo finish?

i cant wait to watch that replay!

Ho yeah, i was so excited to pit out at 1 sec behind of Aaron, so i push too hard out of pit, and slip, hit the wall at left, there i lost 4 sec... i was feeling so stupid at that moment

Yeah, the thing is that i folowed aaron almost all race, and i notice that at that last corner, if he did a mistake, that was the only place i had chance to pass him. I had mutch more acceleration there, but not enought to pass him at T1, and all other place, i coundt never get close enough to him. But me finishing in 2nd at +.048 woud of been the race of aaron's life, but i think he now distroyed his keyboard ofter this unsulting finish for him. I hapy, but im shure he is decompressing down a little before posting his comment, i can easily understand him. I just hope to have the same battle with him at next race, and i whish that kind of race to any driver, trust me, you dont feel alone. You only have the feeling that the race should stop now, and you feel that you wont resist till end of race. I had great battle with spanky and Hitman also, it didnt last long, but it was great fun also.

I like this new physic, it made me slow down compare to other, or it made others faster. I prefer close fight better than having the feeling that i will win easily, and lonely. Now i have the feeling that it is not win untill the race is not over.

My QUALY lap was excellent and was surprised to be on pole, first one this season.
After the qualy session ended my shaking nerves elevated 200%

I got a really bad start because I was afraid to spin in front of everyone and was in 3rd at T1 behind Hitman.
I passed Hitman at the right hander leading onto the short back straight.

I was catching Juan at that point pretty quick, exiting the last turn I got onto the throttle a little too soon and spun sliding on the grass and tagged the wall and ended up on the patch of grass near the pit entrance popped it into 1st gear and stalled the engine.

I was very disappointed because I had the race pace to win or at least a podium finish.

The last corner pass on Aaron (my teammate) by Flow it looked like Aaron didn't have much grip left at least not as much as Flow did.

I think a pic of the finish should be posted on the website. :)

WELL DONE NA only 2 DNF

CONGRATS FLOW and to all who finished.

Words can't describe how a still feel about this race. I was so stunned nothing even got broken. Other than my heart I guess. I pushed 100% for all 60 laps. Most of the race is a blur to me right now. I do remember being too cautious coming into the pits for my first stop. Flow ended up ahead of me and I felt pretty helpless for a while. He made a mistake and I took full advantage of it. Coming in for my 2nd stop was pretty wild. I got the maximum speed that time. The car was sideways crossing the line it seemed.

It feels like I finished 10th to be honest. If flow gains points on me than the race was a failure. It's such a disappointing situation.

Congrats Flow. It was an amazing race.

I had a good qualy lap, first time second.

The start was very good, i had a good jump on Steve B and got my self on first place, first time leadingfrom the begining and stay at front for 15 lapshad only short time to practice for this race and I went for 3 stops and manage to finish 3 place.

Thanks to Dragos for sharing his set up big help, it was a fun race, congrats to all and Flow for the win.

Good race for the Mclaren team, good race mate. :)

Thanks Juan, you did well too for a 3-stopper. I think it was a good race for all who finished.

First, my qualification went bad because I did not leave enough room with Paul in front and when he spun exiting Brooklands, I hit him while trying to go around. Lucky that I did not really expect to qualify near the front anyways and since a "good" qual often means a bad race for me, I was not overly traumatized...

So I start the race almost last and planning to go easy and just bring it to the end with my downforce-heavy setup. What did I know! I take it cool for the first 2 laps, trying to get my rythm down. I pass Mike but then Mike passes me back as I make a mistake a Abbey. I also now have Steve sniffing my exhaust. A couple of laps later, I manage to pass Mike again (clean fighting) and another couple of laps later, I litterally get to contact with Paul when braking at Vale but with no damage to anyone. We're now part of a 4-car train with Grumble, Spankypoo, Paul and me. Pauls spins at chapel on lap 10 and I then have my poo spanked by a Spankypoo rocket a couple of laps later but again, no damage (I did not even feel it). Spanky passes me not long after that and then there's almost a 3-car pileup at Vale but we all make it unharmed (whew!). The lap after, TheGrumble spins at Club and Spanky pits. I'm now 15 seconds away from Hitman, the biggest gap I had with the guy in front of me of all race.

I start to push on and recover about half a second per lap, things are looking good. I do my first pit stop on lap 21 which is uneventful. My second stint is pretty much just catching up to Hitman. I spin at Brooklands losing about 5 seconds but Hitman does a few mistakes of his own and the gap is only about 1 second as he enters the pits on lap 42. Now, I should be entering the pits myself, according to my initial planning, but things being this close and the fuel indicator showing "4 liters/1 lap" make me decide to go for an extra lap. About 2 seconds later, the indicator shows "3/0" just as I exit Woodcote, way before I pass the start/finish line. Thinking "uh oh", I switch to fuel economy mode, which pretty much destroys my strategy.

After my 2nd (last) pitstop, I'm now back to 6 seconds behind Hitman. About 5 laps later, Juan exits the pits and gets between me and Hitman. A lap later, he passes Hitman and the gap between me and Hitman is down to 2 seconds. On lap 54, Hitman makes a gift and goes wide at Abbey. The gap with Juan is about 2 seconds and will fluctuate slightly between 0.5-2 seconds up to the end. I had a little fright on the last lap when lapping Paul IN T1 but that was just bad timing and there were no consequences.

Thanks to all who gave way when lapped, notably Steve, Mike and Paul, it was all clean (even that last one, it was probably the better place to be in the circumstances). Sadly for Steve, this is the first NA race (this season) where points can't be given to all finishers but I think it looks good for the new physics.

Sorry for the long post but the race was much more exciting for me than I could ever write here. There was always someone not very far in front or behind so it made for an intense race on an intense track, particularly when I was planning to do a "go easy" race. Thanks for the good moments.

Hello
Con grates to all (Clapping)

My race well you can read Bilbo's comments. (There just about the same)

The only real difference is the fight with Juan and Bilbo was just fantastic.
And if (and thats a big if) Had front tires left I could have given them a even better fight.
But still I think this race was the best one so far as for fighting Steragie and down right funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I thought Indy was great Fighting with SteveB and Arron but Silver stone was even better.

Now I can not wait for the next one.
But I think I will be missing Europe Family trying to come over my my Birth day.
Hitman 8)
I might not be fast, But I am ahead of you.

I know that it was .048 difference between me and aaron, but i just notice that it was realy close just in back of us, 6 seconds difference between pos 3 to 5 after 60 laps, something that we cant keep quiet for NA.

pos 3 : +1:10.430, Juan
pos 4 : +1:11.986, Bilbo
pos 5 : +1:16.228, Hitman
