After a so-so qualif in 4th position, I got a correct start but a better T1, helped by Juan's early braking, and got P2 right there. Of course, as has been my curse for some time, when I'm near the front on lap 1, I always manage to screw up and I did so on the exit of turn 11, preferring to go wide rather than spin after a mistake. I rejoined in P5 and all I can say is that the next 15 laps or so were just a blur, with me fighting some combination of Hitman, Aaron and SteveB in front and having a combination of same plus Brad and Flow at my back at some time. All I remember is coming out of those laps in P2 and having an increasing but similar gap with Brad in front as with whoever was behind. As much as Brad pulled away, I was pulling away the same from those behind. When I realised this, I decided to just race safe and bring the car to the end. I was pretty much by myself from then on until about the last 10 laps when Hitman, although a lap behind, got in my ass and stuck there, which was a bit unnerving for me at this point of the race, especially as I really didn't want to push and I was starting to get brain fade. Anyhow, I made it to the end and only did 2-3 spins overall, which is much less than I expected at this track with my setup which, while more-or-less fast, was far from the best I ever drove. I think I finished P2 only because I probably made less mistakes than others because, in pure performance, I should have been very average...

Anyhow, congrats to Brad for the win and to all who finished.

well, ive figured out what ive been doing wrong. i decided to get my spins done early this race(lap 1 and 4-5) :)

anyways, got pole, got a decent start, but had everyone all over my ass going into t1. led most of the first lap, then spun going onto the front straight(before pit in, i guess second to last corner, ive always had problems with that corner) anyways, drop down to 7th or 8th and then tried to go on a tear passing people. first, komma: hope i didnt scare you, i have a feeling you didnt see me coming, and that was a pretty risky place to pass, but luckily it worked out. mike, sorry about that, coming back through the field, the second to last corner(one i spun at) i taped you in the rear, luckily you didnt spin, my bad. bilbo, i also tap you in the rear, again luckily you didnt spin, i did(this was my second spin in slow section) sorry about that. flow, man that was awesome, i was running kinda high downforce, i knew i couldnt get you donw the straight, but i thought you might go into t1 deep and i could pull it off, luckily we did it with no contact. since i like battling with flow so much, i ran into the back of bilbo, so i could get behind flow again 8) (jk, i do like battling with you though) got back up to bilbo/hitman battle, and was kinda gifted the lead when bilbo and hitman went wide at t1. from there i was able to run my pace and get a lead built up. this time i decided to not push so hard all race, normally i push hard to keep the concentration up, but tried a more laid back, almost endurance race mind-set. i was able to do a 11.3-5 as fastest lap, but about half the race i was running mid 12s to mid 13s trying to save the car. bilbo did an excellent job this race, i was able to pull away, but not much, and he really had more worried, one decent mistake and we was right there! on my last stop, i noticed flows car was in the pits, i knew he was out, i felt bad because he was out, but knew that if i could get the win i would take the lead in the championship, not how i wanted it, but ill take it. congrats to all the finishers, cya at the next one!

oh yea, for everyone else: watch the first 10-15 laps of the race, everyone was battling everyone, it was pretty cool, eventually kinda spread out, but we had some nice groups there at the begining.

Hello
Con grates to Brad and Bilbo and Arron and all that Finished.

I made a few mistakes but I new this was going to happen.
I practice most of Sunday morning and worked on a setup at the same time.
And as you all know that is not enough practice at any track.

This race was great fun though
I fought it out with the Ferrari boys for most of the Race.
I was either try to catch one or trying to keep ahead of one.
After my first pit stop it was like that the rest of the race.

Dam it I had 3rd Looked down to see where Arron was (Big Mistake) going to the first turn and over shot it giving Arron the Position with one lap to go and Steve about 3 sec behind me trying to take 4th wow what a finish.

Nice racing Arron (HATS OFFFFFFFFFF TO YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU)

Also SteveB Nice Racing

Sorry Bilbo
I was not really trying to push you
I was in fact trying to use you (And it almost worked) You might have noticed that Arron was up ahead of you and we where in a fight for position So I was hoping to use you to get by him.
Via your slip stream.
I did not work because you did not catch him on the inside of the track you passed him on the Straight where he had more speed then me.

So that is why I stayed close to you you where never in danger.

Cu guys at the next one.
Hitman
I might not be fast, But I am ahead of you.

NP Hitman, dealing with the cars behind is one of my problems (see my 1st lap troubles). I think it's because of the sound. I realized I'm driving a lot "by ear" and when I hear another engine, it kinda breaks my rythm. Not to mention the looking at the mirrors thing too...

Anyways, I guess I have to go near the front of the pack more often so I get used to having other cars behind! (A guy can dream...)

For me, 1st i had 0% of concentration, and didnt want to race, but i did, and im dead  look at replay and you will see.

USA is my black beast track. I was never good at that track, and it didnt change this year. I did the best qualif time as i could, 5th if im right, and i couldnt done better was my pb.

In race trim, i new that my pace was not going to be the best, and i would have to battle alot with other driver. I must say that i had a good fight on straight with Brad, i was pretty proud of that  cause i knew that it was going to be the only side by side of the night. After 10 laps, my front tire were completely destroid, i was pushing too mutch, and setup was not good.

Bilbo, you were kicking my ass. I was pushing so hard to keep on you, but you were eating .sec after .sec. Your mistake was making me hope, but i did a big mistake that if i was a real F1 driver, i think i would been killed. Toutch the inside curbe of the fast one of pit entrance, when i toucht it, a slight lag occur (even if the lag didnt realy create my crash) and all i knew is that i lost control and hit the flat pit entrance wall. I was trown into pit, wheuheu, no need to make a full lap to get in. Pit in, and 594sec of damage repair, look at my front wheel that was angle, i didnt tink that the game was going to repair it, so i it esc, that was too mutch for me that night.

It was nice to see after few laps, 4 drivers in front of me with in 3-4 second from pos 1 to pos 5, that was a great feeling and nice to see.
