f1 champions damage file

Here is a modified damage file for F1C 1.06a. You MUST use it for the Monaco race.

I'm posting this again here in Public for the few drivers that don't have access to the Private section.

Hi Guys,
I didn't want to start a new thread so I will post it here.
I added the WHITE line to the tires.
Unfortunately all the tires use the same tread so the line will appear on all compounds, but it looks pretty good IMO.

If you want them let me know.

OK Guys,
I have uploaded the tires with WHITE LINE to the website.

PLEASE follow these steps to install:

1) download COMMON.ZIP
2) EXTRACT IT TO YOUR DESKTOP
3) GO TO rFACTOR/GAME DATA/VEHICLES/F1 CHAMPIONS/F1_2006
4) LOOK FOR COMMON.MAS and re name it to COMMON_orig.MAS
5) DRAG & DROP THE NEW COMMON.MAS INTO THE SAME FOLDER (F1_2006)

I haven't done the BMW, SUPER AGURI or the WILLIAMS yet.

OK DONE!!!!

The F1BMW, WILLIAMS and SUPER AGURI updated tires are done.

Downloads are ready on the website.

NEW> White line in tread
NEW> Bridgestone/Potenza side walls

EXTRACT TO: rFactor/Game Data/Vehicles/F1 Champions/F1_2006/All Teams/team folder

Click YES TO ALL

NONE of the tire updates will cause a MM so no worries

It is up to you if you want to back up the origional TEAM.MAS file in case you don't like the changes.

It is me or what but why those rearwheels will not taking any damage before u take contact to wals over 300 kmp?

That is the mod. I never lost a back wheel, but i know that you can loose the front one. Will have to talk about that to limpy if its possible. Did you notice this only with F1Champion mod or all mod? If its from all mod, than its the game that is not alowing to remove wheel after a contact.

Hi Guys,

Again I didn't want to start a NEW thread so I thought I would post this here.

I changed the color of the LCD screens on my steering wheel to BLACK and now numbers,RPM lights,lap times etc. are much easier to read.

ALL steering wheels are the same except the BMW,WILLIAMS and SUPER AGURI.

If you want these let me know.

TESTED and working 100%
