Post by Flow »

 Mark Aalberts front wheel climb over Killahead's back wheel, with the effect of throwing Mark up in the air.

Well, i didnt took care of the size of screen, i only did the size that came out of my head. I can make resize it, but not now, just spent 2 hours on only making the animation of Barhain winner work in good order. I dont know why, but picture is supose to display in alphabetical order, and it never works. Will have to find why, but now it ok for this time, i finaly was able to change the order, but was not easy to figure it out, lol.

For the pict, i was just making for fun, and i find it funny that the RedBull car was fliyng, funny coincidence. il work on it later.

Awesome picture!

Yeah Im sorry about that DP....I went on the throttle to early or turned too sharp so I was losing control and had to brake to not spin.....I noticed something in the mirrors but wasn't sure that you hit me cause I didn't feel the crash. Too bad it screwed up your race. :?

Awesome screen shot though :D

A simple way it could be done, i know that i can put a module to display some Youtube video on the website. I will have to test it, and then you just need to give me the link, and i could make it viewable from the website. Like said, i need to test it, i will install the module.

video is uploaded, still waiting for youtube to process it for a direct link. test version only now, i can redo it better when we get it to work. its a really nice idea to give ppl an oppertunity to see parts of our races (we could show starts and so on)

wow looks like that one is made by a real pro. What i would like is for rF (or games in general) to actually use these kind of filters - all the colours are too bright in games generally imo. to dampen it somewhat and make it even more authentic (hehe peter, now i used the word in the right sentence :) )

if you want to try vid a youtube vid flow

The filter is nice, by im asking myself, how can he have so nice camera movement, that i dont see how he do it, i dont mean the shaking thing, but camera flying around some action with fluid free movement.

For the youtube video, i installe the module, and its not working, i have to dig out to find why.

Hey flow there is a trick for to do that and get these kind of shots.

Go to swingman vieuw.

In swingman vieuw you can zoom out zoom in turn left right upwards etc. Now here the vieuw is pinpoint to one position on the car where it moves around it.

Now with the U key (toggle wingman or freemove) you enable/disable freemove so with that key you will be able to turn the vieuw in any direction you want with the mouse. and togheter whit zooming and turning you can get the wildest shot you wish for. :D Use fraps to capture it in this case, because replay fridge cant extract those moves thoug.

The movements you make with the mouse you can also atach keyboard keys to it. You even have a slow button wich slows the moves that way you can get verry smooth zooming and moving shots etc.

That all is done with the cam move asignments,.. asign them to keyboard and have fun you will be amazed with what more is posible :D
