Post by Flow »

found this in player file : Pitcrew Push="1" // When out of fuel in pitlane, allows pitcrew to push car (use throttle and gear selection to direct)

I involuntarily tried it some times last season when doing practice and it worked (although it's quite slow). I believe you have to go past the pit entry line for your crew to be able to push you, so you almost have to be lucky to get there when you're out of gas (just like I wasn't in Turkey when, out of fuel, I only managed to get to about 10 feet short of the pit entry line and had to retire  ).

Will we use the parc fermé next year in 07? This is more to next admin to see if yes, but some can leave they comment to guide admin what is the dirvers opinion...

QUICK ParcFerme="3" // 0=off, 1=no setup changes allowed between qual and race except for 'Free Settings'), 2=same unless rain, 3=use RFM default 'ParcFerme=<0-2>'
MULTI ParcFerme="3"

Hello fellas 8)

I remember when brad ran out of fuel right before the pitlane entrance when we raced in Turkey in 05. He managed to get to the garage by pushing gas pedal while on pitlane, if I remember correctly, and managed to get fuel on board as well and raced 'till the end. So it can be very very useful.

IMO definitly parc ferme!

1: its as they do it irl
2: more interesting with strategies
3: less practising needed prior to races
4: less setup wanking and more racing
5: cool
6: coooool
7: definitly funnier!

btw, can you save fuel by driving different? does the game include this? and does wings, boost mapping and such affect fuel usage too?

One thing for shure, with 1.06 and 22engine, the way you drive, shift and rev the engine will affect your engine temperature alot. I can blow my engine in 2 laps, or be smoother, shift soone and rev less, and be able to do 4 laps before it blows, rad 1.

Hi Flow. It would be very nice to join NAR again. But I have to admit that it looks dim atm. Work load is heavy but I promise I will try to find out if it will be possible to race again.

I MISS RACING :!: :!:
