Some news about our webiste.

Post by Flow »

Just to let all of you inform that as you know, we didnt had a functional website for the 2006 season, but it is under great progress in the past 3 weeks. Bilbo and me are working hard on it, and we can say that almost 80% is completed. Bilbo is finalizing all the statistics of 2006, then we will let you all informed. As soon we will get closer to 2007 season, we will update to 07 informations of drivers, and reset stat for the new season. 06 season will be viewable as archive.

We will let you inform soon when you will be able to use it, stay tuned

I have a suggestion: Why don't we add a link for relay in the site and call public servers http://www.noaidsracing.com so site and server could advertise each other.
I know relay is not an official tool now , but can be a good effort to fill the grid before season starts :)
It already exist (not working link btw) but shouldn't it be more in evidence, rather than under a "download" button?
BTW the site is very very nice for now :)

Lol your selling the punch before the official anouncement. The main reason we still didnt ask driver to use it, was that information was not double checked yet, and alot of stuff are changing days after days, and would just confuse all member.

Yeah, the section that your refering to have alot to do, but not easy when you dont know the mod, the track, and even the use of relay or not. The Mod, the Melbourne NAR public track (if we use SteveB track) and Relay (if we use it) will have eatch theyr own little banner, instead of 3 in 1 like actualy. In that section, it will be showned that we have a public track, im waiting the track to use some picture of it. That is why please, dont use the site now, youl may be little disapointed of few bugs still in it.

Up to now, we dont use the site, and hopefully this weekend, we will be able to let all member know that is exist and then they can use it. Actualy, the site is slow, and its on purpose. Few links need to open in same widows instead of a new window, and other minor stuff tobe comleted. Like said, up to now, only 80% is done. A few graphic stuff will be done in weeks to come, but we will be able to use it before.

our major improvement is that Bilbo create a little software that compiles all the racing stats, from race result, to drivers and teams championship points, penality points and drivers personal stats. All those Data are updated live on the site as soon as admin will authorize official result, witch create a little delay when you join any section of the site that contains stats in it, It will be little faster soon. Be patient.

Actually I saw the site about two weeks ago (I think).
Have the 300km/h desktop on my home and work PC :)
But I figured you would make the annoucement soon, so I was quiet about it.

But it looks friggin fantastic Flow & Bilbo!
Very professional and extremely tasteful design!

Cool, but check it out if you have the latest version, i think theyr were finish around that time, and i did some touchup even after release, but all 3 NAR wallpaper are now final. For the 300km, the final version have 300km/h, i add the /h on the final version. Nice to see that some use it, they are not copied from other, and the pict use are not red, or even the burning car, the original was not a car, i did the shape to look like. So theyr are NAR exclusive design. Enjoy.

I have a request for the wallpapers. I have a widescreen monitor, any chance that someone could make these in 1440 x 900 resolution? :D

Thanks for the good comments but I'm only responsible for the "numbers" on the site (anything more "visual" than this and it would be hurtful for your eyes). Flow is doing all the visual stuff and the overall design so he really deserves the bigger part of the congratulations. 8)

that's the resolution for a 19" widescreen monitor, but it is the "aspect" that matters i think widescreens are at 16:9 aspect here is an example of a 1440 x 900 res picture
