december Relay race event

Post by klaaz »

As the race of the champions in real life is this month, RC thought it might be a cool idea to do something simulair for us simracers.
First plan was to use a cristmass day, but most will probable spent that with famely so it might be a good idea to pick a day close to cristmass wich most of us dont have to work, so europa dudes can stay up late.

Check it out on the new Relay forum:

that SR stuff is getting to me also. Had some fun with some guys and ingo on the server today. i started off driving a-class wich seemed i could be faster in my volvo. but after the z-class the a-class seemed more fun and easier to drive fast also. It reminds me of driving with DTM racedriver 2 no aids wich was fun but the online engine sucked...

Grrr. i would love to race Nascar, i went in public server few weeks ago, and for a distraction, its fun to race those. Anyway Nascar is not like a whole race race. You just need to be at the good place with 3 laps to go, then apply the strategy, but not always easy to survice up to there...

we had a half an hour race ,with a forced start setup that made a pitstop in the end nescesarry.
So after i had a crash, i decided to pit early and drop back and see if i could get a good pace for the last few laps and that payed off :)
I really like oval racing, i would love to see the F1 boys set up the car once a year for such an event :)

id love that very much mate. I used to do some oval wintertesting with F1 to see how to improve topspeeds and that always was a blast to race, though the practize could be a bit boring sometimes.....

oval race would be lots of fun but why do i suspect we would all be dead after a race, especially with top speeds around 400 :)
