Howow, wouhou! i expect to finish between 3 to 5 position, BUT I WIN!, lol
I expect to qualif 3rd, and i did 2nd, cool. In new 1st lap or 2, i didnt felt at ease with my setup, and i was doing alot of mistake. Brad was getting away of 1 or 2 sec in front, and Carrera in my ass, so as soon he was close to me, i didnt try to resist (even not shure i would be able to do it) but i knew that my only hope to slow Brad, was letting carrera chase him, hihi. +6 sec in front Brad and Carrera hit togheter, there was my gift. Brad came back in front of me. I started to felt Brad realy nervous, and i start to push on him, with result i got the lead on kind of mistake from him (i wont tell you Brad, i have visual sign of you that tells me when its time to push on you, lol). From there i push so hard and gain after my second stop 22 sec on Carrera. I start to driver safe and save brake and engine and even did my last lap with no pushin, i started to be nervous, Carrera was now at 2 sec behind.
About fuel, maybe setup affect the car, i dont know.
2 stop : 25laps + 25laps + 25laps = 75 laps. I estimate that my 25 was in fact a 20 with fuel problem. So i could of finish with 60 (20+20+20). I finish my race with +10laps of fuel more than expected...?!? with 70laps. so i lost only 4-5 laps. Xzwins lost mutch more than me, but he had wing around 36-37 and i had wing at 24-26. Is setup affecting fuel usage or not?
Anyway, was a great race, congrat to the 8th finisher out of 11. To bad, 3 DNF were for suspension screwed, missing fuel, and engine blow.

Well another good start for the NA division.I came out of the first turn in third and I started to settle in for a long winters nap...erhhhh...I mean long race
...Everything was going according to planwhen all of a sudden out of the smoke I see....Brad spun in front of me.I ended up t-boning him and lost awing and damaged suspension.I knew we could both carry on.I called the pit crew and went in on lap 9 or 10.I loaded her up with 125 litres and went on.The car felt like crap but I adjusted to it.Near the end of the race I saw that flow had pitted and the time was down to 17 seconds.I started to pour it on and caught him on the last lap I was comming down the last big straight and poor Quebec Mike was right there.I made a wrong decision and ended up losing valuable seconds.Still I was not too upset with getting second place.

this one was like germany, i had problems with making the tires last the whole stint. got a good start, the first 10 laps were good, carrera got past flow then eventually got up to me, i spun coming onto the front straight, and carrera hit me. im sorry about that carrera, i didnt want to move cause i wasnt sure if you were going to try and go infront or behind me, instead you tried to kill me! lol jk, the car never seemed the same after that, made my first pitstop, then spun loosing both wings, and damaging the suspension, i tried to continue, but the car would barely go straight. oh well, on to the next one.

Congrats to Flow for the win .
I qualify 4 not bad, the start was good but at T1 spun and lose the front wing, from 4 to 11
but manage to cool down my self and drive, long race ahead, got 5 place behind Steve and 2 laps before the end He did one more pit stop and finish on 4 place, sorry Steve, hehehe.
.
Well congrats to all who finished the race.

Great Race
Hello
And Congrates to all
Wow for me this race was better then the last 2 so I am happy.
The race went preety good a few small mistakes but that is becuase I had to push for 58 laps.
My whole first stint was trying to keep Bilbo behind me and trying to get some time between us.
Man that was tough when he pitted first I felt some relief but new I had to put in some good laps to keep. Then I was fighting with SteveB my whole 2nd stint untill he made a mistake or pitted not shure witch. Then it was all about keeping my time and bringing it home. All that was for 4th and brad gave me a gift that got me on the podium.
With myy Race pace I was happy with 4th but 3rd is better.
I had a couple of offs but did not lose a wing or anything.
But I thank Bilbo and SteveB is was great to fight you guys off.
Very Challenging.
And Bilbo (Got Fuel) for Italy
Hitman

Hehe Hitman, you're funny...
First, during the warmup I decided to add a bit of fuel to my tested race setup so I could do an extra lap if I had to. <suspense>
For the race itself, I tried to make as cautious a start as possible at this track and managed to make it around a spinning car at T1 (probably Juan) without hitting or being hit by anyone. Then, I was left fighting just to keep up with Paul who was in front of me. Paul, I gotta say that I was very impressed with your pace, very good work, congrats. Now I passed Paul when he spun or went wide (or both) and I was increasingly catching up to Hitman as we were nearing pit time. We were pretty much nose to tail (~1 sec between us for safety) when Hitman had to pit while I still had 2 laps of fuel left. So I think, "yess, that fuel strategy was a great move!" So I put on my Schumy helmet and drove a quick lap. As I was nearing the pit entrance again, the fuel indicator said 5/1 (5 liters/1 lap) so I think, "yess, let's hammer this nail good" and went for another quick lap.
Even before I passed the start/finish, the fuel indicator switched to 4/0 (
) and I realized immediately that it would be tight to make it back to the pits. Unfortunately, the nature of this track (it seems like there are more climbs than descents) makes it hard not to go relatively heavy on the throttle, so even if I tried early shifting and even coasting on the back straight(s), the engine started sputtering on the back straight and gave up just before the "bend" in the road leading to the pits. I tried to coast down to the pits but the car stopped approximately 20 feet short of pit line. So I lost a possible podium finish because of 1 single liter of fuel...
</suspense>
BTW SteveB, don't think about blaming yourself for this. I had a tested race setup that I knew what distance it could make. But I changed it at the last minute and THAT change was not tested and I got bitten by it by my own fault...

Congrats to all who made it to the end and to Paul who gave it a very good try!

Man what a race this one was.
My Qualify lap wasn't too bad held top spot till the YOU KNOW WHO guys came out..LOL and ended up 5th spot.
Race start was great I also made a cautious start and it paid off because I saw Juan spin and I had enough time to react without hitting him. I was behind Hitman for a few laps and at one point we had a great battle going on but while trying to catch Hitman I was VERY VERY concerned at Paul and Bilbo's pace behind me I couldn't shake them off my ass..LOL
I crossed the line to start my 7th lap and was very close to Hitman approaching T1 and my friggin game minimized because of some stupid program that was going to update the software OMG, the game came back full screen and I found myself heading right for the guardrail and managed just to tap it and continue and saw Bilbo pass me. I knew I had a long race infront of me at that point.
After the rounds of pitstops and other things happening on track I found myself in 4th place with Juan a comfortable 44 seconds behind me, then the mistakes started..LOL I spun a couple of times reducing my lead over Juan to just 12 seconds and Hitman infront of me by 13 seconds from then on it was just keeping my lap times up and bring it on home. With a few laps to go I checked my fuel situation and found I was going to be 2 laps short so I had to pit for a splash and go and of course gave up 4th to Juan.DAM FUEL
Great race gentlemen and CONGRATS to FLOW and ALL who finished.
And a BIG CONGRATS to PAUL for his pace was nerveracking...LOL

This was a great race for me even considering the fact that i did not finish.
Qualifying went well, I had been in the mid 127's during practice and had a race set up I could do 128's with consistently, so I knew I was in better shape for this race than previous outings.
I qualified mid pack which for me was great, I knew that if I could get a clean start I could keep up with the majority of the field. I got the clean start and found myself in 5th behind Steve and in front of Bilbo, needless to say I was pleased, usually at this point I forget what I'm doing and hit something and wind up in last, chasing the pack. About 6 laps in Steve Spun and I was 1.5-2.0 sec behind hitman and maintaining, I had a 4 sec lead on Bilbo and was maintaining. I figured I would just concentrate on holding my own, drive smart and wait for an opportunity. Sure enough I spun and got some slight damage in the rear end and was passed by Steve and Bilbo in short order, the car felt fine so i started pushing and made up some ground.
First 2 pits went well but shortly after the second pit i spun and lost the front wing, pitted again and even adjusted my fuel but lost a ton of time and wound up letting Aaron make up a 13 second advantage, no big deal I was now in eighth position, in the points and 2 laps up on Mike.
At lap 51 my engine just dies, did'nt overheat, no warning just stops, I knew I had been lapped and was still up on Mike so I waited on the side out of harms way to see if the race would end before i got caught. NOPE
All in all a very good race driving wise, fewer mistakes, more consistent, good for confidence.
Thanks for the Nice comments Steve B and Bilbo much appreciated.

Hey Paul I had that happening to me 2 years ago at Malaysia. Was having a great race but around lap 35 or something the engine just blew up, no over heat warnings or anything........but hey....I am in a McLaren so I guess anything is possible
