Holy smokers...LOL....ok 1:15 is nuts.Brad and I with steve b and paul and a few others last night could only do a best of 1:18.5 so far.I think 1:15 is out of the question for me.I can however do a 1:15 on this track using the f1c.1.06 mod..A mod that so far I am very impressed with.More grip so less downforce to compensate for the v8 engine.Resulting in a more stable car which suits these type of tracks perfectly..For those who have not tried it.Test it out and see.Just make sure you use the new .hdv file.It is in the forum

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello
Well my comp is down have not turned a lap so I am no where near what you guys are doing.
One of the memory things where the memory goes in went out on the motherbourd and is getting fixed.
Hopefully I will have it back tonight and I can do some practice.

I think my best last year was a 1:16+ but things are diffrent this year.

Yes very diffrent

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello
I got my Comp back and put back together last night.
Seems to be good still have to really run and see but at least it botted up with no problem and it did not crash and reboot itself last night.

Yes the track is very diffrent I did about 10 laps last night so I will not bother with the times.

I will see how I do over the next couple of days.

My best is a 1.19.6. I probably won't be able to do better than that. But who knows I haven't actually changed the car in a couple days. You really got to hit your marks here. I have a feeling it's going to be a really close race.

For those who find themselve slow with 20's and 19's, well your faster than me. Dont discourage your self. Up to now, im in high 20's in race setup. My pb is 18.2 on qualif, and i seen Brad and Mark doing 17.2 today. I have alot of improvment on setting to do, even maybe change completely my setup.

Well I am frustrated

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello
I am one that is frustrated.
I tried a few setups from A to Z and they just did not suit this track.
I had to build one from scratch and I finaly got it in to the high 19's for a race set.

This is a diffucult track to master (IMHO) a little mistake will cost you secounds a mistake a little bigger will cost you a wing of more.

What makes it diffucult is it has tight corners and down sloupes and then it has up sloupes this is it self makes it hard to make a setup.
Again IMHO.

As always if anyone wants to try my setup just ask.

Well i pick my Magnycour race setup, change wing and gear, and i was already little more stable, and i went from 21-20's to 20-19's, witch is starting to get better, but still alot of practice would help, but Hey, 1 week is short. In other way, im glad that race will be over in 1 day.

this track needs a lot of laps to master it, sure setup is also important but without the laps you cant lap in decent times here.

Like you said before small mistakes lead up to masive time lost and there is no room for mistakes around here, the racing line is verry small. :D

btw i got down to 16,9 but i doubt if i will do that in qual tonite.
