back injury keeps me from finishing season

Post by klaaz »

Like Killa mentioned before i have much trouble with the chronic pain in my back so I drasticly need to change my lifestyle to ensure my spine gets in the the good shape in the future. So that means I wont be able to get myself ready for the races and have to step back from beeing admin also.
I will continue to do some work on the background but cant keep going on like i used too, very sorry for that but thats the way it is.
Hope you guys have alot of good racing going on the second half of the season and wont get treated to harsh by the current admins :)

Ill be back :)

That's not good. :-( When you said there was still a Williams car available I didn't know this was the reason.

I've never really had back problems before, but I did pull a muscle in my calf (throttle leg) which stopped me from driving properly for a while.. it still isn't 100% fixed but I start to wonder if it ever will be.

I hope your back starts to show signs of improving soon so you can get back to doing fun things like driving.

Take care,

Craig.

Thx guys for your kind words. Seems to go well at the time, and the days with no pain at all gain on the bad days so think i am on the right track. Chiropractic treatmend is something i can advize to anybody, if not for comfort, then for prevention :)
I wont get caught in the trap off beeing overconfident and go do too much(i hope..) but the stuff NON computer-related can actually also be fun( who ever tried to make me believe that was crasy last couple off years lol).
Ill continue to keep spirits up in racing, but thats all for now, hope to join in next season offcourse if there are seats availeble...

Don't you worry about that.....if there are no seats available I will personally form a NEW team so you can have two cars if you want, how about that

Take care of yourself and get well soon friend!

Bummer Klaaz,
I can honestly say I've been there. After landing on my head and compressing my spine in a mountain biking accident years ago.I went to the chiropractor for a full year.My back after xray is almost normal now.I would recommend the chiropractor as well. One other thing. It helps to use a theraball.I bought one of those at the physiotherapists office and I still use it now just to keep my back strong.Hang in there Klaaz. It takes time.

I am really sorry to hear about the back Klaaz. That has to be the worst, most nagging pain there is really.

I hope that your treatment goes well and wish you a speedy recovery!

You are probably well aware of this but,
once you do make it back to the desktop I recommend a good chair.
The importance of this cannot be overstated!! Forget price, forget everything!!

Thx for the tips dudes, that ball thing is a good training indeed. The good chair for behind the desktop i bought a few months ago, got used to a good sitposition so much, i can hardly sit on the damn couch anymore....

Recovery goes with peaks and bumps the chiropractor told me, and he seems pretty right about most stuff. Currently i am on the way up , hope not to overdo things and be overconfident and screw it all again. Few weeks off from work will also help me to get me more active sports time.
I love hollidays, some short fun practize rounds will be very possible IMO.

Thx all for the concern and nice words/tips(cant find a proper english word for what i mean but you'll get it i am sure)

p.s Kick me off server if you think i am forcing stuff hahaha , thx
