NAR NA Europe race

Post by Kaali »

Hi racers.

I have a question already. Is it allowed to cross that red-white area at Pit entrance? As far as I remember it is allowed IRL F1. What do the officials think about that?

I look forward to the race!

If it is to enter the pitline, there are no rules against that AFAIK (from memory, the FIA rule just says you have to enter the pits from the pits entrance, i.e. not through some safety road or things like that).

If you want to really drive there and go on your lap normally, the usual 2-wheels-on-track rule should apply IMO.

I haven't got up to watch the qualifications...

Today in Europe race, Alonzo waited to last minutes to enter pit and he cut trought the white/red line few feet before wall.

So i woud say yes you can cut there, but at your risk, wall is deadly.

Yeah they just were talking about this on speeds coverage. The FIA race director said you can turn in as late as you want. :)
