Many of my preferred metal groups are Swedish.

Among others: Nightwish, Dissection, CoB (above) and many others from the neighboring countries too. Northern Europe sure got their metal right (IMHO at least).

You guys are nuts, heheh......that kind of music will destry your brain, ears and probably your eyes too (ugly guitars! :wink: )


Here's one of my favourite lead guitar players and one of my favourite bands. Perhaps he is not the best technically but he sure is responsible for a lot of great solos and riffs. IMO THIS is rock!: :twisted:

ahhh....found it....I was hoping I could locate a good Hellacopters song. There is a few actually on that site Klaaz found. This band might be unknown for you transatlantic dudes. I saw the live for the first time in 1997, been hooked since then! IMO one of the best (perhaps THE best) pure rock n roll bands in the last 10 years.
