2006/12/03 Vote for the track you want! Race of Champions (all divs in same race, top drivers of each div only, total number of drivers to determined) *** For fun and bragging rights only, not counted in the championship ***

We have tried to minimize the number of races on the same day as the real F1 but, unfortunately, it looks like F1 built their calendar while taking care of the same things we did (holidays or "social-commitment" days). Rather than move/postpone races at the last minute, we have tried to plan as good as we could to minimize hassle.

Dates in bold type are those with only one week between races.

If there are major problems with this calendar, please tell me ASAP.

Times? at what times will we race? Same as last season? NA raced at 8pm Eastern Standard time, 10pm West Greenland time (where I live) and 5pm Pacific time. I would prefer same time 'cos if we delayed it a bit it would be too late for me. A bit earlier would be nice but 8 EST is ok.

Qualifications will start at 8PM CET/EST but, unlike what happened often in NA last season, it will actually start at that time. Because of the bigger fields, late joiners will have to wait for the warmup session to join and qualify, otherwise we will still all be racing in the morning...

There are more details about the times and procedures in the 06 rules, which will be posted any day now (generally the same as last year except for 2-wheels on track but with different penalties).

Like past seasons, races should start at 8:30PM or 5-10 minutes after the end of qualifications, although the latter is more likely with big fields.
