Well, bad night for me. But i cant get angry, il do everything i can to race, but when a kids is sick, nothing else exist...

I qualif just perfectly right in front of Brad of -.0:00.021, wouhou, i was realy happy about it, sorry Brad, you shoud of been faster, i know you coud, again, 1 shot deal.

The race started not bad, but i was -0.3-4 average slower than Brad and also -0.1-2 slower than Kaali. I was at +10sec of kaali at lap 30, and had to quit the race. I was alone with kids tonight, wife outside to see her grandma at hospital, and my daughter hit her head hard on the wall aroiund 7h00, so i had to take care of her. She seem to be ok after cruing all over the floor... lol i started to race and knew that maybe i count go trough. I was happy my son was sleeping, but at lap 30 my dauther was standing beside me criyng and she was not able to sleep :? so i had to quit the race.

Nice Win Kaali, good one Brad, you had shit on your ass being able to reatch that stand wihtout fuel, you were lucky that its little going donw in pit, unless you woud never finish!!

Cya Next year on another game!

Sadly I caught one of the curbs and threw me into the barrier where I lost my front wing and damaged the suspension. So it was game over for ferrari. :( I was kinda hoping to finish the last race of the season and last race with ea's F1 game but it wasn't to be.

NA Div1 Turkey race

Post by Kaali »

WHOA!! What a race!

I am sorry I can't fortify it enough 'cos the lack of english but the race WAS AWESOME!! Not by the race I did but Flow and Brad were in their own league tonight and you gotta understand that the end result is NOT representative for the entire race. It was a great race and some bizzare insidents happened and it was PURE luck I won the race.

In the start Aaron gained 2 places by leapfrogging me and Brad but Brad passed Aaron and I had a good fight with Aaron but after few turns I passed him and was in 3rd after Brad no Flow no Brad no Flow! They had a good fight (!) and they were so fast and I lost time every lap! I drove very conservatively compared to FLow and Brad and they were pushing like I dunno what. They began to make mistakes and I gained into them, they pulled away again but suddenly Flow stopped and I was in 2nd position WAY behind Brad and sometimes he made mistakes and I got closer but he pulled away again fast as lightning which was real annoying for me! (GGGRRRRRRRRRRR!). Suddenly I got closer to Brad very fast and very consistently! I have talk switched off by default so I can't tell if it was accident or something else but right at the last turn I passed Brad and he was driving real slow and stayed in pits for too long to be able to fight again. But that's part of race and they were all racing insidents and the end result counts.

I hope I will see you on track again soon for some off season tests/races. Happy holidays and take care.

Yeah I did get a hell of a start. Too bad it was all down hill from there.

I was going to slow down and let brad and kaali go but I decided that was too dangerous and just let nature take it's course.

Yeah Aaron. Those curbs at that track are MEAN! :? Why do you think I drove conservatively? Sorry you couldn't finish.

thats the only thing that saved me, lol

fun race, flow got me again on pole, the first 10 laps were a good fight with flow, we changed the lead several times. flow slipped back some, and i got into a good rythem and started pumping out the laps. first stop ok, somehow, i missed my second stop, tryied going slowly to make it to the pits, but it ran out of fuel coming into the last corners, i only made it to my pit stall because it was downhill. On a side note, when i was coasting in the pit in neutral, i started slowing down to about 2mph, and i was not going to make it. I gave it gas just for giggles, and all the sudden i accelareted to 8mph? is that something that its supposed to do? is that somehow a signal for a push from the mechanics? kinda doesnt make since, if you watch the replay you will see what i mean. i kinda like this track, technical, and it seems several sections allow multiple lines through them (first s section flow was much faster in, but i was faster out, made it fun!) anyways, hope to see everyone in some offline testing, i guess i need to get rfactor running and see what its all about.

Yup Brad, i realy like those little fight we had, was again realy fun. But you comae out of it nicely. When i spun, Kaali pass in front of me, and even if i was few sec behind, i was pushing as hard as Kaali was doing and i was having even more fun to let know Kaali i was just watching him to wait for a mistake, that didnt come whil i was on track. I those situaton, i never drop off, anything coud happend. When i had problem here at home, i park and wait to see if any woud finish, i woud be able to come back and race till the end. Thats why i came back +6 laps and had to stop again 1 lap later, then i ESC, no chance...

The last part of season were empty of racers, but i think we coud have almost as mutch fun as if we were 20 on track. We were almost in same rytme, but with different style.

Its always a pleasure to kick our ass on track to push ourselve at limit. Looking forward to to have a REAL kind of REAL field of more than 15 racers, things will be REALY different, maybe more like in real life. Championship will be (i hope) more tight.

Hello
Brad Congrates

Unless you changed it or I have it wrong.
When you are out of gas in the pit lane you hit one on the ketbourd for a push to the pits. Could be the gas peddle to. But it is supposed to do that.

Hitman

PS I am sorry I missed the last race of the season and of F1C.
On to get ready for next season 06

Ohh yea Are you guys going to do a Championship race against the top 3 of the divisions seems to me there was talk of that. Just Wondering
I might not be fast, But I am ahead of you.

About the Championship race, yes one was done last year between Euro and NA. But since Euro is no more on same Mod, we cant do it, woundt be fair. As for NA1 and NA2, well coud be possible, But i woud say its more like a "Party fun race". i think that the both top 3 coud be on almost same pace. Coud be fun.

To help things out or not to get all in 2 weeks of practice, maybe last race coud be the ultimate chalenge. Duno what other have to say about it.

We coud maybe extend to 4+4 (8) OR even 5+5 merge (10, hummm), since we can handle it with no lag;
OR
Just make a X on F1C, make a hole in the back yard, hide the game in it and opened it in 30 years, to remember some GOOD OLD DAYS...

LOL! I wonder if F1 stopped if any would miss it? Maybe just us, the supernerds would be nostalgic in 30 years time with this game.

Kaali, im talking about the race done in past year, since euro and Na were split, a race of championship, top 3 finisher in points from both Euro and NA division did a race merge. It was only a symbolical way of reunion of both division.

We could do it in RH04 with the top 2 available drivers from each div (euro + na1 + na2). Given that there would be a majority of North American drivers and that we give up the mod advantage, I suggest the server be based in America. The reason we had only 6 drivers was to minimize the chances of lag and I think it still applies. If one of the top drivers could not make it to the race, the next available highest scoring driver of the same division would replace him.

I will not have rFactor before the end of next week at the earliest :( , at which time I should have my new PC, finally!
