Rossi given Ferrari deadline

November 17th 2005, 16:21 GMT

Valentino Rossi has reportedly been given six months by Ferrari to decide between Formula One and continuing his bike career.
Source: http://www.autosport.com:

I first meant to be a joke with the pictures and stuff but now it gets more and more serious this Rossi thingee. Ferrari is obviously keen on Rossi.

Makes me wonder why a 7 times bike champion is hesitating ... ? Maybe because Michael is there in '06 and therefore Rossi knows he will be 2nd fiddle so he waits (hopes?) until MS retires after '06 season? Dunno ... That's a plausible assumption to me.

I wonder if we can get the lap times from Rossi's test session at Fiorano and Mugello last week?

as much as I can remember, FERRARI are testing ROSSI and getting him prepaired for him to take over for M.S when he retires.

Goes to show that there aren't that many experianced drivers out there.
I hope that they start grooming young drivers now instead of starting new series.....hehehehe just my opinion
FORZA FERRARI !!
