because ATI cards rock, lol, i was just messing around on my old system, with a 9800XT, and the image quality is WAY better than my 6800GT,and the performance isn't that much lower , was getting 100 fps with everything set to full, and 6X AA and 8X quality AF
been reading reviews on the X800XT PE and it beat the 6800 ULTRA in almost EVERY test and benchmark, just a few games prefer the Nvidia, and i don't play those games, so i don't care, lol

this card is amazing, i was practicing at Silverstone, and was getting an average of 150 FPS with 6 X AA and 4 X AF, everything but shadows and special effects set to full. And it looks SO much better image quality wise than my 6800GT
I put a Zalman VF700 ALCU heat sink on it, and the card refuses to go above 50C, lol, awesome stuff, if you're having overheating problems with your vid card, get one of these coolers !!! http://www.zalmanusa.com/usa/product/vi ... 0&code=013

go to catalyst control center, and <if it's available> click the "Overdrive" tab, thats where i check temps, IF you don't have the overdrive tab, which i don't think you will, try downloading ATI Tool < google it >
