Fantastic Mod guys

This is still a Beta but so much fun racing S.Bourdais on these street tracks

Great physics, tracks and sounds ...a must have !

this a mod for f1c and if yes does it come with the dedicated exe like o,w.o.r mod ? really dont fancy getin any more mods for f1c , just seems pointless when the netcode sux so bad

nope cant stand that gtr ,,,RF blows it away even with its 1 track and 3 cars

Well I'll have to agree Limpy.Now if they could just get the f1mod done up it would rock.p.s.I have not seen any lag in rfactor at all since I have played it.

we getin 2 open wheel cars in the release the f1 cars and a formula ford type so looks like all we have to do is maybe get tracks and paint the cars

f1 mods wont be far behind the rFactor release, im keeping my eye on this nice looking 1993 mod, there is also a 2005 mod on the go, what dont you like about gtr exactly?? iv had 16 players on my connection with very little lagg, if any....

yo chimpster, i did a race yesterday, on a public server, and there were 16 cars at the start, and it was RAINING, lol, and noticed no lag at all, just too bad i made my way up to 4th place, and then proceeded to slam into a wall, losing a front wheel, lol, so all the complaints about lag in GTR are not showing up to me, i've done several races and never noticed any major lag at all, thats me in the Corvette, 5th place, hahaha

well I have enough tracks but I am only able to change them for f1 mods if you guys are able to I give them to you.

and I am working on designs for the cars so they will be done fast when I have the bmp of the r-factor cars.

Just installed the mod must say its sweet. only to me it looks like the cars are having to much grip i think.

Only some troubles to get the exe working. I figured out how to fix it,... only i think limpy didnt find it out yet he was having problems,... mayby someone else can explain it.

I am having troable with the exe. myself I can not get it to work no matter what. I have tried all that I have read did a fresh install pointed to the folder and all that crap but still no go.

So Dutch my good friend who I never see on track any more how in the hell do you do this. You figured it out now tell Me/Us how.

if F1C is not installed to the default folder C:\ProgramFiles\EA Sports\F1 Challenge 99' 02' you have to mess with the target path

I did all that pointing it to the right folder and all that but it still just started up F1 C

At the moment I am installing F1 C on my C drive and will try it there.

If that do's not work I will be deleteing Champ car off my Comp. I dont ever remember having this much frustration on any mod. and I have messed with a lot of them.

I had the same problem with this mod who just started F1C instead of ChampCar challenge.
But finally I managed to make it work simply by running the ChampCar 3D config tool first

Hello All
Well thanks for your help guys although it did not work. I was about to delete this Mod in fact I was so mad I was going to copy it to a CD just so I could fling out the window like a freesbee. LOL
In anycase I read this post where all you have to do is insall F1 C then the Champ Car Mod and rename the Dhamp Car INI file to Config.INI and your done. Dam that was easy.

Yes i have it installed also on different drive then C

I did this

Installed CC in a clean F1C game.
Then i renamed the F1C exe to the same exe as CC.

Now i just clicked on the CC exe then it will say it cand find the path and will gonna search. I just clicked on option wich you will be able to browse to youre drive and you can point to other files. I then point to the renamed F1C exe and e voila its working for me. This is under XP not sure can work different for people who dont have XP
