sad weekend for me and scandinavia !

Post by sirsmokealot »

Scandinavia ace racedriver alx danielsson, former NAR driver and a good friend of mine suffered a bad accident at zolder . here is the report .

Alx Danielsson has been confirmed as suffering a broken ankle in the accident which ended first qualifying for the World Series by Renault event at Zolder.

The Swede was involved in what turned out to be a three-car crash after he hit a Colin Fleming's car in the closing minutes of the session. Danielsson was unsighted immediately before the incident, which occurred when Fleming's car rolled to a halt at the side of the track and the Swede, off-line to allow a faster car to pass, was unable to avoid it.

However, the biggest impact occurred when Stefano Proetto arrived and cannoned into the already stranded cars.

Danielsson appeared to be the only injured party, and was attended to at the scene, before being taken to Genk hospital, where a hairline fracture in the ankle was diagnosed. The injury does not require surgery and, despite being left shaken by the impact, Danielsson was able to leave the hospital soon after. At the moment, a precise recovery time is not certain, but it has been confirmed that the DAMS driver will not race tomorrow.

for some of u new guys in NAR this will not affect ur mood too much , but for some of us old NAR drivers who know the swede, and know him in person its a hard one to swallow. especially because he is in the season of his life, and with a good chance to do well.

Dunno what to say really , i just wish alx a fast recovery , and i know he will be back there soon , even more determined to show his talent in the World Series by Renault .

alx if u read this. thanks for all u done for me over the past , it will never be forgotten , u got my ass away from denmark to work in uk now and i really enjoy it here .

also wish u the best from christian(the guy with the jetski) which you had a good SWIM with hehe .. and offcourse tobber and the rest of the danish party crew :) ...

cya in the uk round of World Series by Renault !! ill be there on the sideline !

Well your right smokey,
This is a sad day for some of the NAR veterans.I am just glad it wasn't much worse which it could have been. After racing with alx online and seeing his blinding speed, having him out of racing for real is a major setback for him and you scandinavians.I wish him a speedy recovery and hope he gets better and gets back to the sport he loves. One thing though. Those cars must be well built to handle a major crash like that and end up with only minor injuries. He could have ended up like alex zinardi so he may want to count his lucky stars.Best wishes alx.Hope you recover fast and get back to kickin real ass very soon :D :D

ufffffffff,

 REALITY :?

SIR this are really bad news.

When I hear about a real crash I allways get told how much the time in game allready helped to save for much bigger crashes and that in real is no ESC task and you are not able just to start from pit with a new car again ... and ... that it would really be possible to die by accident.

I thought a lot about this again when I read your post. BUT I waited to answer because as true and heartly your guys words are. I do not think alx would like to read posts written like he allready died.

So I decided to do this post a bit as funny as you guys know me because laugh will heal him more fast than to see how sad his friends are about what happened.

For sure we feel with you alx, but NAR is a great big family and I guess specially in the early days of NAR you dudes pushed each other to reach the limit.

So I, as the slowest NAR feel free to start pushing you again hihihi :P

1st get good painkiller :D

2nd move your ass to your computer again

3rd clean your old wheel and put it on your table

4th install the damn game again

5th we could download the renault mod

6th tell us the tracks you need and when you are ready to get your ass kicked ;) or teach us hihi

… lets have Image

get this kiss for get well soon Image

and a good nurse Image

Yo Alx, all of your NAR buddies wish you a quick, and relatively painless recovery m8. I'm sure you'll be back in the cockpit very soon, turning blazingly fast laps !!! :D Oh, and when you're done with that nurse, i could use some intensive care

meo i might have been sounding like he was dead, offcourse i knew he wasent in that kindda danger when i heard it was the angle that was damaged!

THE REALLY BAD thing about it, is the fact he is loosing some points ,this game is not some kindda football training day for little kids , if u perform u have a chance to make it where very few comes . and no i am not talking waitrose supermarket!

if ur unlucky, for an example some stops a car on a circuit in a corner where u cant see, and furthermore someone else hit u because someone parked his car there allready i would be EXPLODING , but nomatter what u do , u have lost an opportunity to IMPRESS not so much ur sponsors, but NEW sponsors, the sponsors he have allready know he is worth it. But some super rich foregein company might NOT , cause all they see is probably ur results in the end of the season ....

BUT enough about that and the whole situation . alx will be fine and thats what really matters ..

I had seen the race reports at f1-live and wondered why I did not see Alx's name anywhere as I was pretty sure that was the series he was in. This now answers a lot of things. :(

Now, if Zanardi can drive an F1 with no legs (demonstration at Williams soon), I'm sure Alx will kick all his opponent's ass3s when he gets back in his car!

This is what happend to alx

Im sry for the poor quality but thats what you get if you make movies with a fotocamera  .

If you didnt noticed, alx is standing still at the grass with his car when he got hit by that aproaching car.

And you know its even more stupid to see that people are waving red flag and some drivers continue on high speed. :x

Thats pure senselessness, the person who hit him should be heavily penalized. It would be a different story if it just happened and the yellow was only waiving for 2 seconds, but not when theres a red!

Pure stupidity, unbelievable.
