Thanks for the offer, Echo, I'll remember that. I'll first look for having it shipped home or maybe I'll just go buy it in Europe since I'll be there (France/Italy) in May and bring it back myself. It's not like I will have much time to play with it before then anyways.

I just installed GTR. Looks nice, drives great! I'm sure this will be very popular, at least if the netcode is decent (haven't tried it online yet).

It says version 1.3.0.0, is that the same that was released in Germany a few months back?

if i'm not mistaken you have the newest version, i think the latest patch is version 1.3

yes 1.3 is latest version.

In germany it has been released as 1.0.0.0 but in the mean while there has been lots of updates and stuff.

You can find all files for GTR on M4Driving site.

GTR just got here have it loaded and almost ready to go. I wanted to try out the online races, Because that is what it is about for me. I don't want to drive against robots (AI) don't care how good they make there code.
In any case went to get on line and it is asking for a regesration code.
tryied the Cd key and that did not work it did not ask me to regester so how do I get this code.

Fopr online racing it comes on a seperate card that looks like a credit card.
It is your Official online license

Well only did a couple of laps and looked it over a little but beside Simbin & Company having full controll on this game. To me they did a great job it looks fantastic and the physics seem very good.
I am very pleased even though I am a open wheel guy the cars do seem fun to drive.
I am looking forward to do some runs with this sim.
I will have to run it a lot more before I can say it will replace F1C.

Steve when you get yours let me know maybe we can meat up and do some testing and some laps.

i did a little online action, and it seemed pretty smooth, there were 12 guys when i first entered, and i didn't notice any lag at all, except me LAGGING behind, lol, i'll get faster as time goes on i hope, but they were at a track i've never ran before, we'll see how it goes. GET THIS GAME !!!!

About this Sim it is just Awesome and I do mean AWESOME

It is worth every penny in my oppinuion.
The only thing I am bothered with and I understand why they went this route is all the F***en Security.

It checks and validates the cd everytime you load it. This takes a minute or two and then you have the online racing licence

and of courese you have to register and login just to race online.
I know this will be cracked soner or later dam shame Simbin had to go thru all to save there Ass. As I said I understand why

But I am one of those people (And I can say this because I pay for what I have) that want to click on the GTR Icon and race online with my friends dont want all this check this and that and have to race here becuse you can't race there crap

Ok I feel better now
I have done some runs online at Barcenola and it was a lot of fun of course I got lost but I was with in 2 or 3 secounds of there time.

Still I am having troble putting this game down it is that good.

It is a must have

i agree hitman, although last night i couldn't get online at first, kept saying "invalid username/passowrd, but went to the GTR forums, and found out it was a server problem, re registered, and all was fine after that. This game is AWESOME as Hitman said, if you can find it, BUY it !!! lol
