Mark use 34-35 wings and i was using 36-39 and doing 1:32.7XX on PB (Qualif setup)
Im on track, tried wing at 33-33 (same setup as i post up) and 1st pit out i did a 1:31.8XX... (new PB) fast, but less gripping witch can be more dangerous to not finish a race
Can't get out of this tunnel: setup not balanced , rear tyre become too hot and slow times : 1.34 high race set (2 stops) and 1.32.5 (withiut errors ) qualy. Not good enough for the race, but i'll be there for the figth as always
Tyre are too hot when they suddendly loose grip without being progressive.
it means that you burn them. Usually lcd indicates them in yellow ; but it's not a rule. Sometimes it happens than i can drive well and they are shown like yellow as well. I use to have tyre temp about 108/109 °C and pressure about 140 KPa .These are temp and pressure read on tyre after at least 2/3 laps.Wings, mechanical settings and driving style affect in positive or in negative tyre behaviour.
It's up to you to find the rigth compromise; This time i simply didn't find it lol
Ahhh yes,
The infamous tire wear issue,
I run 142 kpa in back and 144 in front with -2.8 rear camber and -3.3in front.
I run super soft tires and 2 stops like you.I have burnt up my rear tires like you say when using massive negative camber like i used to do.They do not go yellow in race.If I spin the rear tires out of every corner. They will go yellow so my first gear is very high. This seems to have solved the issue. Not sure if it'll help you though..
