thats bull, why does it only do it in the CTDP mod then? i can run a full grid in other mods, and get NO slowdowns at all
hihihi ... well if you ask me I wonder why he does not want to know who has such problems ... if I would be him I would like to work with them together for solve this problem as good as possible ... however![CTDP]Neidryder (translated by meo) wrote:depending the hardware problems I can surely say that only because you install CTDP a pc will not run more slow. it is more realistic that the CTDP mod is not runing that smooth than other mods do. there is a simple reason there for, the mod is 10 times as big as all other released cup mods. CTDP has 10 different carshapes, 10 different bump maps and 10 different spec maps not to talk about all the textures for helmets, felly etc. so a cause of more RAM useage is pretty normal. further no one of the tester has been saying anything about problems with the performance and not everyone of them has a high end mashine. might be pretty normal, that different configurations are propably causing some problems but we are not a company, meaning not able for test every kind of configuration. I have been working on this now with a few guys, analysed it with them and working on the mod again. result will be that v1.1 will use up to 15% less RAM and runing more smooth even on those pc which have lags right now. just for be sure about this still a few test's have to be done.
lmao, talk about shooting yourself in the footit is more realistic that the CTDP mod is not runing that smooth than other mods do. there is a simple reason there for, the mod is 10 times as big as all other released cup mods.
well this is what he was posting in the german forum ... I just translated it to english.noob1234 wrote:lmao, talk about shooting yourself in the footit is more realistic that the CTDP mod is not runing that smooth than other mods do. there is a simple reason there for, the mod is 10 times as big as all other released cup mods.
(that must have sounded a lot better while he was going over it in his mind)
