i also wonder does engine braking and boost mapping also affect fuel consumption? i know in real life it does, if i remember correctly more engine braking uses a little more fuel(or do i have that backwards?), not sure how boost mapping would affect it. i do remember one time radio communications with montoya, the team said he had saved enough fuel to move up to engine brake map 4 or 5, from his current setting of 2. Also, it should not be the same for everyone, aero drag from wings and brake ducts should also affect consumption, if its modeled that way. lower wings allow a faster straight-line speed for the same # of revs= same revs over the same distance in a shorter time "should" equal less fuel used, or am i looking at this all wrong?

Indeed Bilbo that is why I need to test for fuel because now we have v8 engine specs so I don't think the fuel usage will be correct as is.

Brad, can you test the 22oct engine, i think that is 1.06 is use, we will have to use the 22oct or better one, my reference time are done on 22oct, withc is Limpy latest engine, and the engine is like a V8, the original is a V8 pysic with a V10 engine.

the 22 oct ini is the latest test option i had from limpy, dont misstake it for his latest engine.
limpy was online the otherday saying he is gonna be back online in 2 weeks, so i guess it will be sorted out pretty soon.

I've been using the october edition engine as well.I only did a few laps and did a 1:47.Mind you.My setup had a top speed of 218 miles an hour or better.I have yet to try one that I would use in qualify.I intend to do that tonight when I get the time.I had to reformat yesterday as I tried to auto patch windows and it recognized my main drive as a removable drive.Ahhhh...Bill Gates you should be shot and pissed on.DId i say that??.I was actually thinking it...LOL...as we all were
p.s.Nvidia all the way.ATI's drivers suck.VPU errors happen in ATI for me in some racing games.I have not had any problems like that since I bought the 6800gt for the one machine and the 7800gt for mine.Just a heads up if you are looking for a video card.I am sure ATI will get better now that AMD owns them.

i think i am using the oct engine. im using whatever engine is being used on the server, as i get no mismatches, so im using the same as drago, klaaz, ingo, and anyone else who has been on there without mismatches. sorry i dont remember exactly, i do remember putting a different engine file on, getting mismatches, and going back to the engine file i had backed up, just dont remember if its was the original, or another i downloaded.

45.1 for me, drago's done a 44.8 i feel 44s are coming for me, dont think 43 will be possible, but you never know

Please Brad, can you test for me the 22oct engine on Spa track, i want to see your PB, this test will help admin to choose the file to use. Seem that original is just like a V8, but with the power of V10. The 22oct is less powerfull, witch is more realistic with a real V8 power, you get 327km/h on original an 1:44 time, and i get 317km/h with 22oct file.

You and Drago pace so fast, that both of your test time comparaison would be just great!

please, please, please? lol i feel like a girl beggin like that

Hi Guys,

If my tracks will be used for the 2007 season, you will find them in the 2007 OFFICIAL NAR TRACKS thread.

ALL updated tracks will be tagged ie: trackname_2007.zip

DO NOT download any others you might get MM as I am changing and adding some things.

To any NEW MEMBERS, ALL tracks in our private tracks section are NOT to be shared with the public, the tracks are for our league use only.

Thank You
Steve B

i am supprised you even get the 22 0ct ini to drive 316 on spa flow. currently we a testing a drago edit engine, wich has original topspeed on exelent exit, but only little lower torque in the lower revs, wich also feels very good.
