Formula Simracing is proud to present its first fun-event of the year 2005 to the Public! On Friday 20th and Saturday 21th of May, everyone is invited to join the action at the Toban Short Circuit through the Test-Version of the upcoming game from ISI.

The goal of FSR fun events is to "relax" a bit from the "main job" F1-Challenge and to have some fun in other vehicles, racing against other fellow members of the Community. In the future we are also planning to race with F1-Challenge Modifications, such as DTM 2002, Porsche Carrera Cup, FIA GT and many more.

For this weekend however we will use the rFactor Demo, as everyone feels that the release of this game comes nearer and nearer.
Everyone is invited to join, just with the following 3 restrictions:
- He must have a DSL connection or faster
- Please use your real name for playing. You can also use a nickname, but we'd like to encourage you to use your real one, so that the results tables look nicer.
- Voting is NOT allowed. Offenders will be kicked.

Timetable (all times in GMT):
FRIDAY:
18:00-19:00: Free Practice
19:00-19:30: Qualifying
19:30: Race 1
20:00-20:15: Warmup for Race 2
20:15-20:45: Race 2
20:45-21:00: Warmup for Race 3
21:00: Race 3

SATURDAY:
12:00-13:00: Free Practice
13:00-13:30: Qualifying
13:30: Race 1
14:00-14:15: Warmup for Race 2
14:15: Race 2
14:45-15:00: Warmup for Race 3
15:00: Race 3

Please note:
Starting Grid of Races 2 and 3 will be determined by the result of the previous race: The order will be vice versa, which means: Winner of Race 1 starts last in Race 2.

The best 8 drivers of a race score points (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1).

There will be 3 scorings:

- Friday Champion
- Saturday Champion
- Overall Champion
(Points of all races will be added together).

Server Name: FSR rFactor Fun-Event
Password: fun
Aids: There are no aids allowed except auto-clutch.

Race Duration: 20 laps

Please NOTE: The fuel consumption is not correct: You must take a bit more fuel in order to reach the finish!
There will be a standing start without formation lap.

You can download the game here: http://www.rFactor.net/downloads.shtml Just choose one of the mirrors.
Do not forget to install the patch! Version 0.720 is correct!

And now we wish you a lot of fun!!
Regards,
Mark Aalberts

Yeah those 2 days were the best 2 days of my racing sim career life. I woke up today at 5:50 a.m for the first time in a long time on a Saturday morning lol. But was it worth if you tell me, hell yeah!!! it was worth it because first of all no lag with 15 drivers net connection from all over the world and wheel to wheel close racing.
