R factor

sup guys, i, like you guys, enjoy and repsect our much loved f1c. but were all disenchanted with the negitive niggles this game has, especialy now. i mean, its the year 2005, f1c allows 10 racers max( run it on a million m/bit connection, i bet theres still mad lag). also joinnig lag. i cant think of another online game(new) that suffers from this..... its not good enough

ok. to my point, becuase of this over the last couple of months iv done a fare amount of surfing all the racesim forums. heres my conclusion
r factor is the future, they are makin this game with lots of communication with the sim comm, they are already talkin to people like RH, who inturn is already workin too convert ther mods over to the RF engine. this games engine is being made for the community, just like ea's f1c. And we all know just how easy it is to mod this game.
theyve just released some new screens, of there CHAMP car, they have included this series., simply for the f1 mod guys. http://forum.m4driving.it/index.php?showtopic=49972

this games engine has a dedicated server, i tested this on my cable connection ( 4 meg ) it ran smooth as........ with 18 racers....!!!
and this was the demo tester.

so make no mistake, in my opinion, this is f1c's last year
( the release of GTR will cut the legs of f1c , r factor will decapitate for sure

Well I still enjoy F1C very much, but I see your point. GTR is going to be very good and so when it comes out I'll certainly be playing that. However, I have never heard of R Factor, so I can't coment on it.

Oh and I haven't recieved a PM.

I have not tried RFactor as of yet I heard the same as Steve the Cars are Slower then shit flowing up the river.

But I am downloading it and will give it a try and see what the truth is.

Sorry but according to Emac and company and is said in the forumd the above statement is wrong as is only a rumor no one there has been contacted about making or creating mods of any kind.

I have bought and tried many games and I can not think of one that has not had some glitch or a problem. The fact remains that you like it or you don't if you like it and are dedicated then you accept the bugs.

I still like F1 C so far no other racing game has gotton my intrust.
If one will it could be GTR this one is very promising if they would ever release this game In the USA.

@frentzenej11: Thanks for the kind words I really can't say yet whether RH2005 will be developped for F1 C or rFactor. Depends heavily on some details and issues with rFactor. But there will very much likely only one of the games supported, not both because we just don't have the man power to do everything twice.

Damn I have to get use to this cars ... I can not accept that other women are more fast than me, just by "doing some laps on pc of her ex because she saw him driving this game" pfffff.

Which idiot would leave his pc at his ex for her to play a racegame lol. my ex allways wanted to crash my computer and took his own one with him when he left lol. I should have change some hardware before me stupid lol.

After racing with limpy and a whole bunch of other people on Rfactor.I would like to give this game a 10 out of 10.Physics on the car is awesome.way better than wgts physics.The netcode recieves another 10 out of 10.No joining lag when someone jumps in.The races were a blast as well.We had a few spins at the start but the outright racing experience was heartpounding.Also racing with limpy was a blast as we were similar speed and he was honkin that damn horn to make me make a mistake(i did same hehehe).I am going to send some dwarves over to his garage next time to disconnect the damn thing..LOL...Pixel shading...textures and no "draw in"made the game even better.I can't wait for the f1 mod to be completed for it.Hats off to a great game with a great netcode.puts LFS and gtr to shame as well as wgts.I am very impressed.and it comes with a dedicated server as well...whoopeeeeee...LOL

They even got me convinced to join the track

,.... only meo overtook me,... ouch that hurted

Must say this game rocks and its verry good. No lag when someone joins and also the car runs smooth even when it doesnt go at f1 speed

now its just waiting for an f1 add on,....

motorhead just join the jolt 100mbit HC server that were i am most time
they up 24/7 dedicated,,,,and yea dutch be glad when the f1 mod comes

K, thanks Limpy, now i got the game. Il be able to drive around 8:30 pm Eastern time, when kids in bed. Looking forward to try that game.
