Australia Race comment

Post by Flow »

Hi all, this is for comment on your race of tonight.

Before race comment:
You can try if you want to predic your position of qualf and finish or on how you feel on comming race. Woud be cool.

After let a SHORT resume of how went race.
The 3 top finish of eatch division MUST leave a comment as a "Press conference". Il take short section of comment and few comment of other driver to make a little article like on a News Paper for the web site in News section. Some was doing comment after race last year, its same thing, go short and simple...

Hope you will collaborate, its for fun!

I'll predict a top 3 qualifying position for myself as I have dropped into the high 1:26's, and as for the race, as long as Erick is rusty and I can keep her off the wall, I'd like to make it 3 wins in a row!

Given the additional number of drivers in the NA division, I would be pleased with a top 10 qualifying (not that I care very about qualifying) and a point finish.

With a 15 drivers grid, I also expect major trouble at T1 and/or T3. Please prove me wrong, guys. Remember, you can't win on the first lap, you can only lose, so take it easy and be extra careful. The guy in front could/will brake early, especially on the first couple of laps (traffic jams, cold brakes/tyres).

Good luck to all! 8)

Yeah Bilbo T1 is going to be an adventure to say the least. However, I will be very very surprised if all 15 drivers show up, so I don't think it will be as terrible. Still, 10 guys will be trying to fit through the first chicane, it will be fun fun fun!!

As for the race it self not reall sure first 100% race and thats a lot of laps and a lot can go wrong so hard to predict. I know I will finish even if I have to get out and push
But I do predict I will be in the points. I attend to put on the presure

Well......

I have never been a great qulifyer; but....

I was running in 8th about 15 laps or so in. Things were going well right up until I got taken out with a hit from behind on the front stretch. My apologies to anyone that got caught behind me on my full lap with no wings.

Unbelievable...

if it would have recognized me as the race leader, that would not have happened....cause you would have moved aside....right? But since it didn't say I was in front, everyone was trying hard not to let me by. but anyway....was complely a racing incident (well, lag more like it). That start finish lag caused your car to lag behind causing me to run into you, even thought it may not have looked like it to you while you were driving. Each of our PC's recognizes it's own reality. If mine thinks it hit you, then you will feel it. Really sucks. So sorry about that. I really should have prepared for that.

Erik,

I do not honestly know whether you are commenting to Steve or me; and honestly, I am done discussing this after this post.

In my case, I distinctly moved to the right to allow a car to go past. It did not matter to me if the car was P1 or P9; If I am caught from behind, it is because someone is faster than me. Simple, I move.

Honestly, I was watching for XZ to come up behind me and thought I was moving for him. Given that he is a beginner, I am more than willing to cut him some slack. Combine this with the lag and I simply wanted to give as much as possible to whom ever.

I was mad, I should not have chatted the message I did....and I am sorry.

On to Malaysia.

There was something strange with the track just before the start/finish line. I saw it during qualifying in the European division. Might have contributed to the "lag".
