I installed the track tonight but after trying to do a single lap and kissing almost every rails, I went back for a race-length simulation at Monza. Which was useful because the front brakes on both sides gave up about 5 laps from the end, so I need to tweak that a bit more.

It would have been a shame if it had happened in the real race and Steve beat me in the championship because of that! :P

Well, it almost happened to me in Montreal (I think), I had a "single-side" brake failure from about 3/4 of the race and the car was pulling madly to the right every time I touched the brakes. I managed to crawl to the end of the race but you passed me very near the end (I think you were damaged too). That was a good race. :o

don't fret bilbo.I had that happen to me last year in a 50% race and Dan the Man also lost his brakes like 3 laps from the end..pulling to the left was my problem and pulling to the right was his...that was fun going into the hairpin and doing 2 360's before i got there..LOL>...only happens really if your brakes are like 61 or 62 to the front...best case is to back off the brake pedal halfway thru the braking zone.you will stop just as fast anyway and lessen the heat on the brakes....
carrera 8) 8) 8)
