Another rhumor about Jacques Vilneuve

Post by Flow »

A rhumor send Villeneuve to Renault team to replace Jarno Trulli, and for the next race, China. So we wont wait long to see if itds true or false.

He is suppose to take place in a renault in 3 days, question of making some practice session in is new car......

TRUE OR FALSE???!?!!???!?!!!...?... :?

Whatever. He's gotta come back ASAP, this year (ideally) or next year, or he's gonna be locked out of F1 forever...

Villeneuve at Renault would really be great though, better than at Sauber!

true

why,.. flavio is an dickhead cause he is crazy  I can stil remember him saying that villenueve was no option for renault.

2 sjaak needs to come back cause this type of drivers are fun to watch.

And the real reason why he is comming back is that trulli has big argument with flavio and they are angry thats why we dont see trulli back in an renault

Besides that villeneuve is gonna test the renault this week, do i need to say more.

Congrats to the canadians next race you having an canadian driver back ontrack

greetz

Yup the rhumor is true... Renault annonce on their web site that they will test Vilneuve for the next 2 days at Sylverstone. They came with a agreement for the 3 next races of the season if the practice session go well.

Well,
I'm not getting any hopes up for Jaques staying in f1 very long.Young talent like Alonso and Kimi are lightning fast but Jaques will have the help of the launch control system that renault has.Like I said.Maybe if he just shuts up and drives he will do fine. But we will see.crossing fingers.

Well, if Jacques did shut up, he wouldn't be THE Jacques anymore...

It's part of his character to speak his mind and, while I don't think he's always right, he deserves to be respected for not being "eaten by the machine" and becoming "soulless" like so many drivers have...

Well holy smokers,
Jacques villeneuve joining the sauber team for 2 years was a well kept secret eh?I had no idea thats for sure. Now that he will run the renault for the remainder of the year(maybe). He will have a ferrari engine behind him to give him a boost.I believe that the ferarri engine will be a bit more reliable in the races than the honda engine has been for him before 2002.
I do believe however that Jenson Button will be on the podium again in the next (last)races and that will be something to watch.Lets hope Jensons car doesn't let him down.As for villeneuve.yes it will be nice to see him in the pits again speaking his mind.I have a feeling he will not be critical of the sauber team as he was of the Bar Team. But the ferarri engine may give him some much needed reliable power. Now lest see what the new state of the art sauber wind tunnel will do for the team.

hehe im glad for Jacques...

"Je suis content pour lui, il commence dès la prochaine course avec Renault, puis pour 2ans avec Sauber. Il n'a pas de cult a botter mais juste à faire son mieux, enfin un peux d'action dans les pits autant verbal qu'en piste j'espère"....

well 2 years with sauber should make him a happy camper as well.
I do already like his lap times in silverstone,But i don't think he will be as oiutspoken as before as he has had to deal with 5 years of negative politics with the BAR team.I still hope the Bar team does ok though as they have 2 strong drivers.I think Jacques will have his work cut out for him though but watch his start at the chinese grand prix.Remember he has the renault launch to get him up front with alonso(who is a dynamite starter).Lets see how the beginning of that race goes.On a lighter note though.Jaguar is retiring to make way for FORD F1.I think the budget will be bigger and they will have a great run next year.I would like to see dodge or chevy in there as well but hey...thats me dreamin eh?

Yeah ford quits with F1, and the cosworth engine builders to

Thats big trouble for jordan and minardi,.... this desicion can change F1 big time,.. cus if there will be no new team we dont have 20 cars on track anymore. The concorde agreement says that there have to be 20 cars in the field, for next year its posible that we are going to see top teams with entering 3 cars for the race.

I know the head of redbull wants to start an all american team,.. hmm who are they sponsoring,... and i know that Arden F3000 team wants to join F1, interesting.

Anyway wll see what happen.

well,
I have been trying to keep track of Danny sullivan and the search for american drivers to run in F1,but again it is all up to the money.
With Jaguar folding and a 1000 jobs being lost in britain it may be ford not having enough money to run in F1 at all.It is so up in the air right now it is pathetic. Here in Canada ford is suffering also but not just because of car sales alone. It is because you now have to pay taxes on your trade in vehicle. So now people do not want to trade vehicles in to buy new cars...another blow to ford and the rest of the car dealerships...paying taxes on a vehicle you already paid taxes on as a trade in...then paying taxes again on a new vehicle is ludicrous. We may be passive but not that stupid...massive cars now up for sale privately as you can sell it for 10000 dollars and only claim on paper that it was sold for 3000 dollars...thereby avoiding massive taxes....cars for sale everywhere here now...basically the government is cutting the car dealers throats with taxes on trade ins.....as for the red bull search for american drivers...it takes alot of money to back a driver nowadays. It is easier for someone like villeneuve to find a sponsor worth 5 million than it is for a newcommer.I don't think Danny sullivan will dish out that kind of money either(although he probably has it).I do believe that redbull will back whoever shows the most promise and an american driver will race soon enough...next year??...well it sure would be nice wouldn't it...

actually jackie stewart was trying to fan the flames by saying ford would put a team together in F1 but it is a hopeless cause i think.Ford is up for sale.I mean the F1 aspect of it anyway. If it is bought it will probably not retain the ford name as It was first thought.Looks like Ford is going to suffer even more with car sales still dropping and stocks suffering as well.
Man..when it rains it pours.See how investors lose confidence and the ripple effect causes grief right up to the f1 branch eh??Jaguar will keep trying to make its sales using diesels and aluminum cars but I think they will just not make the sales quotas anymore. This opens the doors for the "third car"again.I even think luizzi may drive a thrid sauber as red bull did not like sauber sigining villeneuve over liuzzi.liuzzis first test was fairly good too...hmmm...a third mclaren too?? maybe a thrid toyota???
what is going to happen next year without jaguar or ford(if they keep plummeting)
