Unfortunately a combination of hardware failure and human mistake led to the loss of a full partition of data on the server. This partition held, among other things, all the files for the forum (but not the database that contains the articles, users and forum settings). To make matters worse, I did not have a fresh backup of these files, so I have been forced to restore files from over 2 months ago.
This means that avatars and uploaded files that are newer than 3 months are most likely lost ( = dead links).
If you find any other problems (other than dead links to new files), please let me know!
Unfortunately I've had some more server problems. I've just installed a few patches that I hope will fix it, but if you cannot reach the forum then it's most likely because the machine has crashed (again).
