NHRA Drag Racing

Well guys I went to see the NHRA drag racing in Englishtown yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! Even the slower Pro Stock and Pro Mod guys are still moving from 0-200mph in like 6.5 seconds, lol. The Funny car and Top Fuel guys were just incredible, going from 0-325mph in 4.5 seconds. It was an ear-bleedingly loud experience, and the smell of tire smoke and nitromethane exhaust was awsome. Lots of other guys were wearing ear plugs, but I wanted to get the FULL experience, so I didnt wear any, lol. It was a great show once it got dark between like 8 and 9pm, as there were 6-foot flames out the side of the 6,500hp beasts. We moved down to the start line at the end, and it was really just a nice night. Just sitting there they sound like they are going to explode. If they come by you guys, I would highly reccomend going to the qualifying sessions at night. Even if you aren't a big fan of drag racing, they are really just awsome machines.

I'll post some pictures, but I took them with the camcorder, so they will be terrible quality, like .6 megapixels, lol.

Yo Cart, i've been to the Craftsman Nationals two times here, in 2001, and 2002, you're right about these machines m8, they can't turn, but man can the get up and go !!! only thing i didn't like was the bracket racing crap, lol, but pro stock cars and bikes, and of course the funny car's and top fuelers were un believable !!!
plus that Angelle Savoie is one hot lil mama, and she can ride that 180 mph bike like nobodies business !!!
