Post by Andri »

Hi racers,

I made my first race ib this league today. I didn't finished the race because I lost my front wing at 30th lap  . What I saw in this first race is you are all a very mature drivers - lol - That was fun and cool to race with you.

See you in the next race

Thks Andri, you also did good for your first race at NAR. I have to say you did a excellent job at keeping your head up at the start when you saw Erick jump the start and next in front you was Carrera. When the lights when green you knew that Carrera was going to pulled the right and you decided to ease of the gas pedal to avoid a accident, good job Andri and hope to see you on track again. 8)

Gotta agree with the others, it looks like you've got the "NAR stuff"! 8)

That was a nice battle you had with Carrera.

For myself, it's almost a race to forget. Right at the start, there was a stopped Ferrari that appeared in front of me (when Carrera drove beside it, nice move BTW) just to disappear as I was gonna hit it (thought it was due to "start lag"). It was pleasing battling for many laps between Steve and Aaron after the start, then with Merc after I spun all by myself like a big boy (too much gas in curve exit). At mid-race, I had a small mixup with Motorhead in the pits that left me with a surprisingly damaged suspension (given the speed of the impact, somewhat less than 79kph as I was lining up for my pit stall), which got much worse about 5 laps from the end when, all of a sudden, the car started pulling left badly every times I applied the brakes (that made the hairpin very hairy!)...

"...pull a schumacher...", now that's a nice expression!

Yeah, I saw what happened. I was like probably everyone, wondering WTF happened.... "brake heating" finally looked like a "brake test", which is not the best thing to do in a semi-lit tunnel and with cars that have no brake lights... That's just MHO.

Oh man so far that was the best race of the season in Monte Carlo, specially the battle with Trulli and Button in the final 5 laps to go :) . But finally a difrent driver wins besides Micheal. I couldn't stop laughing when Micheal was driving with a broken tyre to try to get back to the pits  , oh man what a idiot to lock up the brakes in the tunnel during the safety car :?
