New forum software

I have just upgraded the forum software from phpBB2 to phpBB3. Please let me know if you notice anything strange!

phpBB3 makes it pretty easy to add new styles.

Everyone should take a look at http://www.phpbb3styles.net/ and see if they can find a style that would fit this forum.

I've added a style from that site called "Blue Moon" that you can select from the User Control Panel here. Try it out!!!

Those are my top 5 that are nice in my point of view.

The Website will also change in the next few days. I have upgrade from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5, and the actual template is not available in 1.5. The new Design will be black and red. i know that is it not the best to have a black site, but the design fit good, and tool are available to make the text enlarge of + 2 size, that will make it easy to read for some <old nar eyes> still alive I hope to release it before our Australia race.

Yes it does look sharp and I am used to it now after about 10 minutes so no biggie for me.Now about the "old NAR eyes"well.I took offence to that while chugging my Geritol on the rocks and eating porridge because my teeth are still in the shop...ok maybe that is a litle farfetched...but at least we are not called "old geezers racing".We are NAR and resistance is futile.....hahahaha...but the forum looks great DAN so thanx for the up to date changes.Someone is watching over us..LOL..
p.s.Was in Whister yesterday and almost everyone was speaking a different language.BArely any English speaking people there...that was different...oh and my cousin Nicoles Condo there is beautiful but the mortgage is 6000 dollars a month..Try and keep up with that..wow..

In the Forum down where it shows who is online.
(Do not know if this is right or if you noticed) but it is showing a Goggle search bot is registered.
Is this a concern like a virus or one of those annoying spammers things.

It is a feature of phpBB3. It recognizes web-crawlers like Google and Yahoo (and 48 others), making it possible to fine-tune the settings for what content is served to the search engines.

So nothing to worry about at all!

The short forum downtime tonight was due to an upgrade of the forum software from phpBB 3.0.0 to 3.0.1.
