Hello

Yes It was great Fun today.
I really like this Mod and it did not take 300 laps to get up to speed so for winter fun this woulds be a great choice.

@Ingo and all
As for the tracks yes thats some great choices I would like to add a few of RFactor stock tracks also I think that will help get some new guys in also.

In the next day or two I will make a list

25 laps
every Sunday or every other Sunday Excluding Holidays of course till the Middle of February.
And What would be a good race time for Euro and NA
Maybe the same time as our ROC race.

I like every Sunday after all it is only 25 laps and it goes fast.

Also I have setting problem on my Dedi server Even thou I have it set for Standing Starts.
We where still having to go out in to the pits and drive around the track and doing a warm up lap before the race start. And man did not seem like for ever. Oh we where at Toban GP if that matters.

Hitman, maybe check that you have both "MULTI Reconnaissance" and "MULTI Formation Lap" set to "0" in the server's PLR file.

I looked at the Dedi File but did not see it there, but I did see it in the Player name PLR file, I changed it there and this even I will check and see if it is right.

Glad to see there is some entrust for this and there will be a race this weekend Sunday. I am going to make it 12.00 PM my time hopefully we can get the Euro boys old and new in.

In a while I will get a track list done with Links to get them if needed.

Ok there is a problem here.Are you guys talking about BMW_M3GTRCUP v1.2(which I have as a stand alone mod 65 MB) or are you talking about the BMW_M3GTR CUP v2.0 with the 2.1 patch.I figured since you mentioned patch that may be it.My Buddy Boon will probably join in as well as he is currently training for NAR next year.I already have every track made for rfactor up till a couple of days ago.Been banging wheels alot in Megane but damn there are some respectable drivers out there.The meganes are just a little too short a wheelbase for me.BMW M3GTR is more like it.That'll be door bangin fun..LOL...

Carr your friend is more then Welcome the more the Merrier I just hope my Connection will hold out. I have had 15 guys on and it was very good so I think it will be ok. If not I will make arrangements to get a better server.

These races are just for fun and bragging rights. We do expect respectful drivers and
We will be going by some rules the main thing is respect and having fun.
We use no Aids this is a test of skill and a lot of fun.

Races will run from December-2-07 to Febuary-17-08
Server Name NAR winter fun
Day (Sunday
Time (12:00 pm PST) NA California Server will be open earlier. Time represents Qual time or soon after.

Qualification
You will have 5 laps to do your Qual time and will have 30 minutes to do so.
Time is set when Qual is started.

Hitman are u gonna setup the Server 24/7, starting from now or is the Server gonna be up in december,
wouldt be great that the server is up from now on, with some tracks, atleast 3 tracks so we can get warmup,

and pitstop is mandatory i see, so u gonna put fuel use higher let say 3x???, so its sure that u have to do a pistop,

Ok guys thanks for clearing that up.I have already used the 2.1 mod and like it.I will be there on sunday with another racer as we will be in his basement lanning from there.I will have to bring my g25 over there for this race though

.I already have a desk and tower over there with a 6800gt in it.It runs rfactor clean and smooth.Boon will be running the 7900GTO so we will get no lockups or vpu errors for sure.Lets see how fast this car will go....vrooooom...LOL...I am ready

Well I will take out Mandatory pit stop I figure the front tires will make them pit anyway and I don't really want to start messing with the 2 times fuel use and all that I want to make this fun where we and others can come in have fun and thats it.

As for the server being up 24/7 well I will put it up as much as I can but I am not home all day long so if something happens there is no one here to fix it or reset it.

I will get the server setup this evening with the tracks and the right settings. I will also post the admin PW in the private section for the NAR guys to control if needed.

I am looking forward to this I think it is going to be a blast.
I posted in a couple of forums hopefully some others will join us.

In my experience, the rF dedicated server is quite stable unless there are many quick session changes. It can definitely stay up for a week, unless someone's actually looking for problems (my server being open only to NAR drivers might have helped on this last point).

I am also wondering if I should use a Password on it.
So far the I only know of NAR guys coming for sure.

And in my post at other forums I can put something to the affect that

The Server is Password protected if you are wish to practice and race with us please contact me via a pm and I will get you the password.
This is a protection for great undisturbed races. So please do not give this out.
