do it!

my computer went berzerk during the q, thought i fixed it but it seems this old thing cant cope with that many cars. in the beginning of the race there where only a few occations of lag that took me off the track, but after a while it got worse (2fps or so) so i decided to park it in the pits. Unfortounatly i went over the blockades at the last chicane to let a mac by, and got stuck there. Kinda wanted to park it in the garage and go out with style :D

wellwell, i kinda like my start anyway ! :) thought i had a cheat or someting...

After an abysmal start and being all over the place for 3 laps, I made a mistake at the last chicane and stalled the engine...

That's in line with my past ROC results though... :?

So I lasted about 1 1/2 laps the end.

I looked at my set settings and all is right not sure what happened but oh well.

I to give thanks to all of you

Just great .This is the my second consecutive ROC winning .
I was not able to get the pole , but i soon got the first position after the start , maybe even because Firefly was too heavy at the start .
I pushed from the beginning and gained a discrete advantage , that i administrate in the last stint .
Congrat all who finished this fantastic race.
It was a nice year .

W NAR !!!!!!

Congrat again to all NAR crew and drivers , and a great thx of course to Dan for the server .

Cu on track ;)

I feel pretty wrecked now, but it was a really fun race for me... if also extremely tough.

I got pole position with a solid lap, and luckily this time only one car got ahead of me at the start of the race. :) Unfortunately that one car was Drago.

He slowly pulled away but for the early laps Mark was right behind me so I was more concerned about defending than anything else. Once I got into a rhythm I managed to pull away from Mark and focus on keeping in touch with Drago. I couldn't match his pace but I had split my strategy - two stints of 22 laps (91L) and then a final stint of only 9 laps (39L). I knew if I was able to keep within 10 seconds of Drago I might be able to put some pressure on him during my final stint with low fuel and fresh tyres.

This worked to some extent, as I set the fastest lap of the race, but I'm pretty sure Drago was simply controlling his pace to the finish by then. I just wish my setup had been more consistent with high fuel so I could've stayed closer to him early on.

Congratulations Drago on an excellent performance.

Suzuka has probably been my best race since joining the league - I did win at Fuji but I actually made more errors in that race. Today I only made one big error in the whole race (running wide at turn 1) which cost me 2 or 3 seconds.

It was great fun racing with such a full grid today, and being able to drive alongside the NA drivers was really special.

Thanks.

Had fun while it lasted, and i bet i put a big scare into Killa on the straight before 130R, spun, lost my wings, and decided to call it a day, but i had to use my mouse to exit the race, killa was just behind me, glad i didn't screw his race !!

Thanks to everyone here at N A R, the best damn league on the planet !!

Killa and Dan, for being the cool dudes that they are, they started this way back in 2002 i believe, i joined the following year, and have been the resident snail ever since :P

SteveB for the tracks, and Limpy for a damn good F1 mod, you two rock !!!

Hitman, Ingo, great job on the admin side of things !! And Killa,Flow and Bilbo for helping us out with that too !!

And a huge thanks again to Dan for keeping our forum up and running, and supplying the Euro server.

All the racers for being fair, and having fun on the track, that's what it's all about eh?
I may be slow, but at least I'm consistantly slow !

Just looked at the stats page - Juan made up 11 places in the race, going from 17th to 6th.

That's pretty amazing.

Well my qualy lap was better than I had expected being so nervous.

My start was very good and was running pretty good behind RoadRunner.
We had a great battle for most of the first stint.

When I was going to enter the pits for my first pit stop I was kind of in a trance looking at RR car and forgot to look where I was going and tagged the pit entrance guardrail and ended up having a 190 second pit stop. BYE BYE 5th place.
Came out dead last and 1:45 seconds behind XZ. I managed to catch and pass XZ and start to chase down Paul who I managed to catch but was a bitch trying to pass but Paul made a mistake which I took advantage of.

I was 1 lap down to Juan but saw a lot of smoke ahead of me and noticed it was Juan's engine and thought maybe this will be my early B Day gift but was too late I unlapped myself from Juan but not enough laps to catch him again.

CONGRATS to DRAGO and to all who finished.
It was AMAZING to have such a big grid and to be on the same track as so many talented drivers.

I would like to give out BIG thanks to DAN and KILLA for their amazing job they do year in and year out for us.

To this years ADMINS who did a fantastic job yet again :) and to Bilbo and Flow always being there.

As for me..... well ...... I was very very excited and happy to have done another season of tracks for all of us at NAR.
I hope you all honestly felt they were great to drive on as I did.

Thank you guys for your kind words it was my pleasure. :)

I will be working hard with ALL the tracks again during the winter to try and spice them up just in case we use them again for the 2008 season.

Again THANKS to ALL being apart of NAR is very special to me. ALL of you are a FANTASTIC group of guys. :)

Hope to keep in touch during the winter months.

I expect to qualif 5th-8th and finish 4th-7th. Finaly i qualif 4th and finish 4th, it is more than i expected, but i was hoping for a podium with bad luck in front. Was not an easy race, usualy kids are in bed, but at 2PM, 1 sick and 1 runing around me with millions of questions was not easy to keep concentration.

Many mistake with alot of engine around me made me do little mistake that cost me to drop back to around 7th. i climb back to 4th with no hope of doing better with Killa and Cie in my ass. Neer middle race Mark pited and exit in my back I did a 360 in middle of track in face of Mark just on my lap out to pit. That probably cost me the 3rd, cause when i pit out, Killa was now 8 seconds in front of me, and i was now back again on 4th place. after our both last stop, i was 3 second in Killa<s ass, but i mistake while pushing too mutch and i finished the race with 6 seconds behind him, in 4th.

This was again a great season, we had alot of fun, and the chalenge in NA was more than interesting past middle season since middle pack was now fighting for the lead.

That 07 ROC simply ROCk again, just great feeling and difference from usual 9-10 drivers to 18, and the fun of racing with the >Euro boy<

Thanks to all driver, and thanks to all admin.

This was a FUN race! Was good to be back on track after a 2-3 months break with no F1. Suzuka RULES!

The race:
The first 10 laps was so cool, cars everywhere doming from all directions. I had some good fights with Sailsy, RoadRunner, Flow and more that I can't remember atm because we were so MANY on track.

I was really impressed by the diciplin in the start, looked like a very smooth start.

Steve.....you DID give me a scare...a BIG one....hahah.....shit.....here I am doing 250km/h on the back straight seeing Steve infront og me on my left crashing into the wall and comes back on track spinning with wings and everything going in all directions, I managed to go past him though without problems so no harm done. Too bad you crashed Steve.

This was a great event on a great track. Thx everyone for a fun evning!

And thank you to everyone who have helped out during this year! I wont name anyone cause last time I tried I forgot several people so I just say: you know who you are and without you NAR would not be possible, THANX! :D

Don't forget to sign to be admin 2008. We will have the poll soon, probably within a week, so stay tuned on the forum during the winter for updates and winter racing with NAR friends!
