Used but New to me BRD wheel

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello All
I got a used BRD wheel It is the show V2 with 4 buttons
Yes it need some work had to
replace a couple of plugs
Fix and re solder a switch
Fix and replace a little wire

But it really seems to be working really good now. You will notice it has a home made panel with extra buttons/Switches that is very cool That works thru the Keyboard you can read more about that here.
http://www.ultimarc.com/ipac1.html it works very well I am still learning how to do the programing in the app. I can do it in game but it do's not remember it even thou I save the programing in game. It is just a matter of learning how to reprogram the keys on the keyboard.
After our season thru the winter months I plan on making a new panel and move buttons around to make it more comfortable and to make certain buttons to adjust things in the pits for example.

One thing about this wheel and why they did this I have no clue serves no real purpouse besides if one switch fails durring the race you can use a switch on the wheel. To buttons on the wheel are on the same switch as the left and right paddles shifters very dumb design other wise the wheel is very smooth asI get more and more used to it.
Still need to get the right settings and all that but that will come.

Big change really from a MSFF to a BRD

Here are a couple of pics

Too bad it doesn't have an LCD screen on there. I have seen the NEW wheels and they have it, but CONGRATS looks very nice indeed. :)

Hello
Yes thats going to be the hard part is remembering what button do's what.

I plan on using a color code system if I can find different color caps for the buttons if not then I will learn in time
