First, congrats to all who finished, that was not the easiest track...

As for my race, I had a very ordinary start from 4th position (it felt very bad but it does not look that bad on the replay compared to the others in front). I tried to have a safe 1st lap but, as is customary for me, I ended up last after missing the chicane (I think I made the same mistake at the same place in a past season, go figure). Well, it was an opportunity to have an exciting race on what could otherwise be a very boring track.

In the first few laps, I had multiple position switches with Juan, which at times felt like an Alonso/Hamilton fratricide but it was all good and exciting until Juan hit a wall. Then I had a nice battle with Steve, which included a beautifully executed synchronized spin just before the last turn. We both survived and went on for some more fighting until I managed to pass. A bit later, I catch up to Hitman and Aaron who are fighting together. After a couple of laps behind them, I accelerate too hard out of turn 5 and hit the wall before the chicane, losing the front wing. Being on lap 40 with what I had planned as a 2-stop strategy, with over 80 seconds of repairs needed, I decide to take a big load of fuel and try for a last stint of 30 laps. I know it will be hard on the tyres (soft/medsoft r/f) but I figure I have to risk it otherwise I'll finish dead last if I have to go for 3 stops.

So, going out, I'm on a mission. I catch up to Steve again for some more fighting, pass him, meet Aaron on the way who seems to be pacing himself and lets me pass even though I'm a lap down. That enables me to try a desperate assault for a podium. ~10 laps from the end, I'm about 10 seconds from Paul and P3. I push as much as I can and get into position behind Paul about 2 laps from the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the pass before the end (how I wish we could have gone for one more lap! ).

Generally, I have been more aggressive for this race than I am usually. That was because I knew I had a great setup and the track itself does not have too many "natural" passing points, so I felt I had to "make" them when the opportunities arised. My apologies to all those I banged wheels with if you think I've been too dangerous. In any case, it was a lot of fun fighting with most of you on a track that had a lot of potential for boredom.

I'm now almost sad that the next race is in 3 weeks and not earlier!

I agree Bilbo this isn't an easy track.1 mistake and you have everyone up your ass....LOL

My Qualy lap was good but could have been better. With an 8 car QUALY session I went out too soon and having to slow right down to get some space between me and the 3 in front for almost my whole out lap my tires weren't up to temps and I didn't have the grip for my hot lap.

I got the best start I ever had, I passed Juan approaching T1.
After a couple of turns I looked to see who was behind and saw that it was Hitman and I thought oh man this is going to be a difficult race to stay in front but my lead started to increase and I never looked back.

I was on a 3 stopper and my pit stops went perfect.
After my 1st pit stop I came out right behind Aaron and I knew I was quicker but thought just to keep the pace I was doing in my first stint.
Then 1 lap later I don't know if Aaron had a problem and let me pass and I just started to crank out the laps.

CONGRATS to JUAN for his first pole and to PAUL for his first podium finish and to the rest who finished.

FERRARI 1-2 WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!

Well I can't complain about where I finished but I wish I had practiced for this race. Thanks to Bilbo for giving me a setup to work with sunday. I really felt like I neded to be on the front row for the start but screwed up the 2nd and 3rd sectors in my qual lap. I felt like I could control the race if I got up front. With hitman behind me I felt like I just couldn't hit my marks for some reason. So my early lap times were pretty horrid. I came out of the first pitstop and Steve was behind me as he said. I knew he was on a 3 stopper and I felt like I couldn't beat him today anyway so I decided to be the good teamate and let him go. Towards the end of the race I had 50+ seconds in front and behind me so I just criused to the finish. The last 2 laps I pushed to see what I could do and my last lap was my fasted race lap ironically. I just didn't do enough pracice here sadly. But all in all a good day for ferrari and a big boost for me in the championship.

This track wasnt one of my favorite, but i practice it soo mutch in past year. I didnt done a single lap this year on it, but i can close my eyes and remind the full circuit all by heart.

Its a 'rendez-vous' to next one!

Hello
Congrates to STEVEBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB
and all who finished this race.

For me well just like Arron no practice
I did about 40 laps on Saturday and maybe 50 or 60 practice laps on Sunday.
All the while working on the setup.

I decided to go on a 3 stopper have fun and not fight thew car for 70 laps.

I had a great fight with Arron and some good laps with Bilbo.
Thanks guys this is what I am looking for a fight to the end great racing.

With about 15 laps to go (I think) I was right behind Arron (Like a second) and had 3rd in the bag but decided I wanted 2nd so I over pushed coming out of the 2nd to last corner and hit the wall losing my front wing :( Wow was I pissed at my self. oh well got way behind and got lapped by SteveB and just pulled behind him and went to the end.

Great race GREAT FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

Congrats to Steve B on his second win in a row, great race you were dialed in. Congrats to Aaron as well for second place, a great race for Ferrari.

My qually was disappointing and way off my PB but a start from fifth is what I am getting used to.

The race was great I had a good setup that I could push with if necessary. My biggest problem this year has been getting through the first few laps, most of my DNF's have happened before lap 3 and I was determined to get a clean start and just hold my position. I can't really describe what happened other than to say I got lucky and was able to drive cleanly and fairly consistently, only one spin and a few shaky corners mostly in the last stint when Bilbo was running me down.

I am unbelievably happy to have finally made a podium, persistence has paid off. The adrenaline rush wore off about 2am
