Basically i'm using standard setup: changed wing on 28-27 , boost 7 , max rpm , brake duct 3 , and yes the car suffer of understeer , but amplified when in draft.
I'm on 15:xx first laps , then 14:xx rest of the stint , about 78 litres.
Tyres get more time to reach rigth temp.
If i see u on track i'll of course send my set.

Looks like we did some parallel testing tonight... I got my times mostly in the 17s with full race setup, with some 16s and 18s here and there...
70 liters: 25 indicated laps, 22 actual laps with 1 liter left (tested twice)
86 liters: 31 indicated laps, 27 actual laps with 1 liter left (I did more mistakes in that stint).
Both the soft tyres and the engine appear to survive a race distance despite taking some abuse.

i think my main problem is in suspensionDrago(ITA) wrote:Basically i'm using standard setup: changed wing on 28-27 , boost 7 , max rpm , brake duct 3 , and yes the car suffer of understeer , but amplified when in draft.

1st night with new physic, and 1st night at France07 track, and my PB qualif time is 15.024, and 14'8 is possible could of been possible when il be able to now screw a good lap. I use my old Canada setup with minor change. I notice that value are not all same as before in garage, so i will need to test to see how is the new bottom and top of settings.brad wrote:i just cannot get the ballance right, ive done a 14.8in qualify, but only once, most of the time, 15.3-5.
Didnt done any race test up to now, will see later. France track is the worst one to find a place where to pass, it is knowned have having only the long straight after pit, then wait same place at next lap, the one who will have best speed there, will lead, but dont loose it in corner section!

Hello
I had a little time this morning before work.
And had a chance to do some laps in France. Beautiful track by the way (Clapping)
With my Canada setup a little tweek (Not great) but was doing (Race set) 1.18 & 1.17. with in a few laps. with mistakes of course.
Drago passed me a set (Thank you) much more stable at least and although my time did not improve much 1.17 & 1.16 it was do to my own mistakes.
I need to practice a lot more but for me I like what we are running now as for the Physics side anyway.
The car to me feels more like it should or would in real life. MHO
