sb hit me @ T1 at my back.. thats the reason i had to make a long pit stop.
after that it was just surviving. then in lap 62 my engine blowed up.. from nothing. should be also from that crash..

hate this..
99% sure i stop racing

I watched the replay Jurgen. That is maximum unlucky, you were ON the 63rd lap when your engine blew up if I am correct and the 90% rule says that you have to complete 63 laps on Canada.......I THINK........this is not an admin talking, I'm just discussing......

wow......that is unlucky. I hopw you will reconcider though Jurgen and stay with us, start incidents often happens here at Canada.

prob about right that flow , they might be useing too small rad and far too much boost.

do a full race test offline to make sure setup is fine , Works for me :)

This was a tough one! Me, Drago and Kaffe had a massive battle throughout the race, most of the time it was 3-7 seconds between us but it stayed like that for most of the race and we all knew every mistake would cost very much.

I was hoping to catch up with Kaffe on the last stint and with about 10 laps left I was 1,9 seconds behind him when I caught up with Sanderson. When I was gonna lap him I expected him to slow down to let me pass on the back straight going down to the hair pin but no, he RACED me to it!?! :? :?
I got very confused and lost focus, missed the hairpin and lost 2,5 seconds to Kaffe and let Drago closer........I was upset for a few laps and Kaffe used this to pull away some more......

it was a bit dissapointing at first not to be able to put some pressure on the Espressomaker in the closing laps but today it feels good, we both finished ahead of The Drago and that is most important, to close the gap in the championship.

// Martin :D

...I was using Rad 3 and Boost 7 btw......water temp ~100 and oil ~110. It is very easy to monitor this and the boost is adjustable from the car as u all probably know by now.

for the record i dont think i won this one, i jinxed the line a bit in my first pitstop at the exit. its not a attempt to cut, or me going too fast- quite the opposite tbh. I slowed down and turned, and by misstake got too much steering lock. still went back inside the line and exited the right way so its up to the admins to decide. grrr

but well, the most important thing is that we had LOTS OF FUN THIS ONE. Got drago in the start, and tried to leave room in T1 but (not sure here, but i think you overcooked it and locked up) so i got pushed off and spun, and had to start again from the back of the field more or less :) . So this is where the fun begins, managed to overtake the majority of the field within the first few laps and started to gain on killa and drago. I ended up in a point where i was between 1.5 - 2.5 secs between killa EVERY LAP FOR 2 STINTS, without none of us doing a misstake. Got close in the second stint but had to pick the grass due to some traffic. anyway we all catched up a few laps before the last stop, and as i had the most fuel i could stay out longest and got by. After that i just tried too keep killa at that 2 sec (got to 4 when killa got his traffic) gap and not make anything stupid. still., there was 21 laps to go so.... :D ...

Wery cool race, since we where almost identical in times, and no one of me and killa had a spin or incident for the entire race (exept for me being hit in T1 ofc). lol must have been just as boring as a real f1 race to watch where we all stayed at identical distances from each other not being able to catch up. Felt i had the phase for this one tho, since i had to work my way up to you guys in the beginning!

one other curiosa thing, compare this NAR season with the real f1 season and you'll see that ferrari has won the same races IRL an ingame, the same goes for MAC/VOLVO. So for this to continue, alo and lewis will have to pull an ace in montreal cause i think ferrari will be hard to beat arond there!

but..trust the statistics...and alonso wins

oh, one other fun thing. at the first pistop i stayed out one more lap then killa here too, and got ready to push (was 1.5 sec behind) but going out of t2, when i was gonna activate pitin, i turned the ignintion (lol noob...)dunno how much time i lost there but it could have been even closer. geheh

wellwell...important thing is that we enjoy the races!

You are right Kaffe....it was FUN. To show things for others even more clear:
Top 3 one lap before 2nd pit stop (Drago pit first, me one lap after and Kaffe 1 or 2 laps after me):
1: Drago
2: Killahead
3: Kaffemaskin

Top 3 one lap after 2nd pit stop:
1: Kaffemaskin
2: Killahead
3: Drago

How cool is this! :D
I don't know if Drago think it is very cool since he was the one who lost most but it was a very close race indeed. Like Kaffe said, he was trailing me on a steady 2 second distance for 2 stints! Awesome

no one could always win.
Sometimes you have to left something for others too , and this time it was even because of a fault of mine , grr
But indeed ... it was a great race :) and of course lot of fun :)
