To all new driver of NAR

Post by Flow »

Is there any driver that are supose to driver with us that still dont have access to private forum, and driver that are not shure if they will race or not?

Please any question, or any request like private forum access, question about rules, or Relay Anticheat, let us know.

Take note that you wont see our race server from racecast or rfactor lobby, since we are using Relay for that. Server will be visible only from Relay lobby.

Please new driver, let us know if all is fine. I will also try to see who still is not registered on the website (not being registered dont affect you for the race, dont worry).

Thanks.

Okay, maybe not the right place for it, but I have to ask it anyway.....
Whats the "thingy with the engine off during pitstop"?
I read it somewhere but cant find it anymore......
And; is it allowed in race?

you can bind a key to ignition ingame, in order to turn off the engine if you have to spend lots of time in the pits repairing damage. Allowed, since it is the only way to survive 55+ pitstops. You can turn on and off the engine anywhere in the pits.

Check where you assing key, you have 2 key to assing to use it. Ignition and the one up or dowh that one. Practice it, and it works only in pits. As soon you enter pit to repair car, you can have a bended supension and wait in pit for a 150sec repair, and you will exit with a brand new car... but stop your engine, or it will blow shortly after your stop.

Okay, thanks guys, practiced it allready and I manage to do it correct.
The only thing I find strange is that when you have a "yellow damage" on your car, it comes out repaired but the yellow bars are still there. Does that mean there is still a form of damage?

Edit; sorry guys, but its not clear to me if the quali is with "parc ferme" rules or not.......I've been searching the site and forum and come to the conclusion that I must be stupid or its not actually there......both is possible ;)

No Parc ferme

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello
There is no Parc ferme.
If you go to the rules pages of the web site you will know how we will be qualifiyng.
We even went back to Black flags in order to not be tied to one tire selection.

Okay thanks. I have read the rules section (off course), but it wasn't totally clear to me because last practice race it was asked and then we did use parc ferme......

Actually, at last practice, we did NOT want to use any Parc Ferme rules. What happened with the tyre selection was only a side effect of using the Full Flags (which we wanted to test), which is part of the reason why we're going back to black flags only (which is a lot more than just black flags but that's another thing).

Oh, and it's okay to ask questions. It's better to ask question when unsure than to assume the wrong thing...
