NA & Euro Boys Test race Sunday-25-07 P2

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello guys
I would like to try this again

This would be a great opportunity for everyone to test before the season opener
I hope that the New Drivers will take advantage and test with us.

You can find the mod and track here
http://forumserver.zapto.org/NAR/viewtopic.php?t=2318

Thought I would host a 50 lap test race on Sunday February-25-07
NAR rules and times. Full Flags test
This is a test race and made for fun no points
but may be some Sh..t talking and bragging rights would be fun. Laughing

I hope some or all can make it I will open server at about 4:00 pm my time
7:00 pm East coast or Canada.
And the race goes as our regular season.

Server name and time
http://www.noaidsracing.com
Sunday 5:00 pm West 8:00 pm east coast.

works for me. however, this will be fairly late for our euro drivers. not speaking for everyone of coarse, but i could deal with that time being moved up to accommodate the euro side. i think noon-2pm central would make it easier for the euro's to make it. gotta remember, there's actually some of those guys that have jobs

Hello All
With Klazz help and using Dans setup we where able to get my server to show and work thru Relay. :D

I am not sure who will be able to show up but I hope some do would be nice to have a few people.

As for the Qual order
I am not really concerned about this I myself do not see us changing how we Qual at NAR but if we do we can practice and test that later.

As for Qual I would just say we qual as usually from top to bottom and let the game sort us out thru our time SO Please PUT IN A TIME.

What I am really looking for is to test
New guys if they make it IHave not heared from any)
Full Flags
Cockpit
Mod and track
This mod has not been really tested with a lot of guys for FPS
Also I would like to know about the Engine
Over heating in the pit with damage.
Brakes and so on.

So we hope to see you there

Well, the NA test was fun while it lasted. Out of 8 at the start, there were only two drivers left after 15 laps. I think all DNFs were due to suspension and maybe 1 engine problem.

I did a 153 secs pitstop (had to search for a duct tape roll) and I preventively shut down the engine when the overheat icon appeared. No problems with the engine when I restarted it a few seconds before the end of repairs. If only the rest of the car was then as good as the engine...

I did 162 sec repair, then a 180 sec repair and another 218 sec repair, and the front suspension eatch time was like a new one, the 45degree angle broken suspension was totaly fixed. For shure i shut the engine off estch time.

Me and Xzwins finisht the whole 100% of race test, 2 Renault at end. Ok i had to ask Xzwins to let me catch up of 30 second, i was out of 90, mauahah Team managment force him to put me in point, hahahah

I set the arrow key to change the seat and realized that i was not able to change any setting for pitting.

I use RPM limit at 19500, Rad 4, Brake 3 (pressure 90%), Boost 5, super soft tire.
Xzwins use same set, but Rad 6 (brake pressure 80%).

Was not the fastest, but good to reath end.
