Hi Dropkick, indeed we met, good to see you here now!
I myself am also pretty new here and from what I read and heard; speed is not so important; you wil learn with the help of others. More important is being a fair racer as far as I understood.
So what you're not the fastest? I think this is a great place to learn and compete.......you have seen how the guys help you with settings and tips and so on.
I come to know you as a nice guy and a fair racer, not throttling full into the first corner and stuff; thats important.
I'd like to see you join this club, the more the mariër right?
(must have spelled "mariër" wrong)

Well, see you around on relay and welcome!

"To finish first, first you must finish" (-Yoda?)

If you make it to the end of the races, you will likely get relatively good championship standing even if you're not the fastest. You will gain speed through practice and discussions with other drivers but more importantly, you will very likely have fun in the process even if you're not winning.

I also second what the others above have said.

Hi Dropkick,

GREAT to see you joined our forum, the next step is for you to grab a seat and get your ass in our races.
Don't worry about your speed (it will come in time) like BILBO said to finish first you need to finish.

Just try to be consistant and you will do fine.

COME ON what are you waiting for????????????????????????
