Humm Discussion

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello
Well I am more then confused as to why i am penalized or warned.

The first warning on L11
I spun at the first turn as I was going to correct myself I see you (Flow) I back of you go thru. If you listen to my engine you can herte the revs go down there in my hummble oppinuion was not looks like you went thru with out even slowing down. there defently was no hit.

The secound incindent well it was a close call I would have to say.
But my feeling I had the outside and was setting up the pass and the Ferrari came over. Again no damage so I don't see why the warning.

Warning for Blue Flag now this one really (You have my attention)
First It was my first blue I (AS you can see) Slowed up got over to the left
(SteveB) Instead of staying on the Drive line to the right came over on the left side behind me and I get a blue flag warning then I move over to the right and so do's he and I get a blue flag warning. I did everything right in my oppinuion what should I have done pulled over and had lunch well he passed me.
This was discussed and what was said is that we even have more time now to let drivers thru before the game penalizes us and I was no where near that time.

I really need clrafication here I rarly complain or go back and check the replays I go with the trust I have for you guys but since I did not even finish here and did not remember the race the way it is stated up there I thought I would check it out. And I really do not see what you guys are feeling.

Hi Hitman. As i can see, im not shure you received the PM of information that you will receive a warning. Your message is still in the Outbox, so i assume you didnt notice it, or you didnt read it. A reply to you in Private of this comment is in you PM box, with more explanation. Please confirm if you receive them.

Even DNF driver can receive penality, this will just prove that admin saw it, and noted it. If we dont do it, like in past, we will receive bad comment of driver shouting that we didnt done our job... sorry, its not easy to please all.

thanks.

I actually watched the replay this morning of hitmans incidents.
The first one is a given.Driving back across the racing line after spinning is a rule that several of us have gotten stung on.Driving in reverse is definitely worse. The blue flag incident is a dark area. For you to slow down, stop and have lunch.Well, better make it a quick lunch.Again.Steveb obviously wasn't sure where you were going to go.Thats where the grey area comes in.You let off the gas which is what we do.It is really moot point but the discussion can be carried on during winter break.Now...what I wanted to say was...We do not have enough people checking replays.I think next year 6 people should check the replays and make a report to the head penalty giver. This year everyone had to wait quite a while for the results(penaltys). We can easily avert this by having twice as many people checking replays next year.I for one will definitely offer my services next year for this task. This should be considered by people who have the time.Admins do not always have the time to spend on this task...
carrera 8) 8) 8)

The blue flag warning here is in Grey situation as Carrera mentioned. The explanation to Hitman was given in PM, but was like this :

The both driver were going side by side climbing up the hill, forcing the faster car to be on the outside up the hill, were it is the worst place to be. Hitman didnt deserve a penality, but a gentle remind that it could of been dagerous. The word 'warning' may sound hard sometime. But warning in our case cover, 'you were close to penality' to 'just watch out next time, that is a situation that can be dangerous'.

Hitman situation woud hapend same on a straight, would not even get our attention. Its just that at that precise place, was not easy to manage from Hitman, and was not easy to judge also.

We could use for Hitman at Brazil : 'wouf, was close, good for you, but watch out next time to make shure that nothing bad happend', but warning is shroter to use

Hitman reply in PM that he was not mad, but just confused.

Hello
As you can see I did type really fast It was late here and was in a hurry so excuse me if what Wrote seems like I am mad.
But really I am not I can take a warning and even a penalty if I deserve it but in this case and from what I see I got confused (For the lack of a better term and thoght I would state and ask for my confusion.

As for Carrs plan
If I am around in 07 I would be more then happy to help with viewing replays.

Ok on to ROF
Have to get my work done and get some practice in.
I can not beleave it is the end of the season and Christmas is just a mear 3 weeks away hell the year is over for that matter.
Where did the time go.

It might be a good idea to label the Euro results as Euro results in the first post...
