I screw completely my qualif. All week i was in 33 middle, and this afternoon with a change of setup, i was stable in 32middle (that means a 33low in real qualif situation/nervosity i woud qualif 3rd) in my warmup lap, i spun, hit wall and did a few loops and felt down on wheels, no more front wing. As nothing specify in rules that situation (no wing), i was on warmup lap, so i decide to esc, without front wing may gave me and unfair advantate, who knows.

I start last, in 10th position... nice view from there at start. I saw no resistance to make my way in 5th position in lap 1. from there i pass Bilbo (in wall) SteveB (in wall) and Hitman (In grass)... humm too easy, and then SantaClausCarrera that i was pushing so hard to keep him under 10 secondes DNF (dont know why). I was 1st even before my 1st pitstop. I push hard just to erase Carrera fast lap 8) then i slow alot to save my brakes. I set my setup on lower rad and lower brake and 100% presssure witch is not usual from me, jsut to give me chance to be faster. Happy that i could slow and save my car, i was so afraid to not finish.

Congratulation to all, i think that all 8finisher are in points. Cool.

PS, i hope that none left me pass him cause i was in back, even in back you can block me (legaly) and save your position. I like the chanlenge of having to figh a+ position even with a slower driver...

Cya at Suzuka guys!

What can I say.Could not talk on phone and drive at same time.Daughter called from college and I tried to drive for a few laps but then just said"fuck it".I am still debating whether to finish the last races as I am starting to like 1.06 more, and would rather do that than chase a championship that is already won.Well l see though as second in the championship is not clinched yet.

Congratulation to SteveB for 2nd, and Aaron for 3rd.n.

Carrera, I also though since you DNF and let other win on purpose. But i think about it for few sec and said, no way. If they want to win, it will be done fairly, and they will be more proud to win for real. Its not fun to win when you know that driver in front let you win, you dont feel the same proud. I know what i mean. Alot of driver are realy improving last few race. My personal comment for a mod, i wish one day we will have a mod that is easyer (not to easy) but enough easy to alow more close fight from start to end of race. Idont like the feeling that its too easy over another driver, we should have more close fight, mod fault or drivers fault, i dont know. If driver in front of me (Aaron, hitman SteveB and Bilbo) didnt spun i would have a hard time to catch up, they were driving fast last night. Woud i still win?, not shure...

SteveB, you did a great climb last night.
Before race points

7 Bilbo 32
8 Xzwins 31
9 Steve 25
10 SteveB 21

After race points (non official)
SteveB +8pts and Bilbo +2pts, Steve 0pts and Xzwins 0pts

7 Bilbo 34 (—)
8 Xzwins 31 (—)
9 SteveB 29 (+1up)
10 Steve 25 (-1down)

Close!

Well I wasn't too happy with myself for spinning in qualifying. So I went into this race a little mad and perhaps a tad too aggressive. The early laps are kind of a blur to me but I didn't get a great start. After a few laps I ended up in 4th. Unfortunetely I spun at the hairpin and had to start over. I do remember hitman coming out of the pits right in front of me. I found that surprising cause he was at least 4 seconds ahead of me before I pitted. I tried to put some pressure on him and after a half a lap he made a little mistake and I overtook him. The last stint I was around 17 seconds behind Steve and didn't seem to be closing so I just decided to finsh the race in third. I've managed to get on the podium 3 times in a row now. Perhaps my bad luck is behind me. See ya at Japan. :D

First, I have to apologize for an abysmal and dangerous start or, actually, the lack of a start. Don't ask me why but I was expecting a starting light sequence like real F1, with all red lights coming on then all turned off, even though I KNEW that's not the way the lights work in-game. It took me long enough to realize that I should have started when the green light came on, I was like "oh sh1t, I had to start 1 second ago". Of course, to compound the problem, I spun my wheels, which slowed things down even further. So I have no excuse for this and can only offer my deepest apologies for any trouble this may have caused to anyone.

This came after a surprising third place in qualifications (most likely helped by a few drivers aborting their fast lap) which happens to be my new PB by more than half a second (I did not practice my Q setup much) over my previous one. Well, after that very poor start, I managed to stay out of trouble for most of the 1st lap until I went wide at the last turn and one side of the car "bit" into the sand, pulling me in the wall at ~200 km/h. I was certain I had a broken front wing so I let everyone pass (this happening on lap 1, the pack was still tight) while I prepared my pitstop before realizing, against all hopes, that both wings were still attached and only the suspension was damaged (which explained the difference in car behaviour). So after going from P3 to P10 in the 1st lap, I start to climb my way back. I got into a few fights, most notably with Juan and Hitman, and tried to close the gap to Aaron.

All was going well until about 10 laps from the end when, distracted with the leader coming up on me, I spun exiting turn 10, lost the front wing (for real) and further damaging the suspension. After limping back to the pits to fix the damage, I came out and after a few more laps, spun again, lost the front wing again. Since it was close to the end of the race, I thought about quitting then but, on further reflection and in traditional hobbit resilience, I was not about to give up the extra championship point afforded to P7 over P8, so I went on to finish the race at a really safe pace since I was still a lap in front of Mike who was in P8.

I'm still a bit mad at me for having battled a damaged car for almost all of the race and maintaining a respectable pace for the bigger part of the race, only to finish almost last by my own fault. But then, I'm also a bit proud to have managed to bring the car to the end against unlikely odds and collect a few more championship points.

Congrats to Flow for the nice come back, and to SteveB and Aaron for the good results. Bring on Japan now!

Hello
Congrates to all.

My race
I was doing ok the first few laps I was really nerves and I tried to push hard and keep Carr close But I made a mistake losing positions.
Then I really started to push and made even more mistakes.(Will I ever learn)
Then after my first pit I got a bad cramp in my right foot and I could not move it or control the gas peddles so I swithed to my left foot useing it for Brake and gas and that was not good at all.

In this situation I did have a couple of good fights.
And I bumped Arron sorry If I caused damage or to anyone else I might have screwed.
My races at the end of the season are going down hill.

I hope to make Japan but I might not be home in time.
So I will cu guys in Brazil

Hitman 8)
I might not be fast, But I am ahead of you.

I don't know why but it seems we were all nervous as hell at this race.I think we are all so close in times now that one mistake worries us a whole bunch.I was nervous as hell on my outlap for qualifying.Had to breath slow and focus to do a good qualifying lap.I settled in and just started to drive my race until the phone rang.I tried and tried but could not drive with the phone in one ear and bangin gears in the other. As for letting some people catch up flow.Of course,I am going to make sure everyone fights fair.there is no way I will just pull over..LOL...well.It would take a few bucks  .
I was wondering though if maybe Flow paid my daughter to call me at that time..hmmm....LOL...i think not...hahahahaha...I take every chance to talk to my little girl since she is in college.Nar is a fantastic place to race, but,My children are my life.Funny thing eh.My daughter is in college.and 3 months ago my son moved out for a week to live with his girlfriend.I never felt so lost when he left.No purpose.Noone to clean up after,Barely any laundry.very few dishes...I was lost...and then I found beer....ya...LOL...and then he moved back in and the partyin was over dammit...arghhhhh...

I was behind Bilbo and had to avoid him lap 1, next one was SteveB, i had to avoid him also, was a replika of Bilbo's crash, lol  Dont you know that im almost more nervous than you?  Yeah, i dont need many laps to settle down my pace, but i still need at least 5 to 10 laps, and then no nervosity, wow what a releif when it hapens, lol.

At China qualif, i was not nervous for 1st time, i think i was too mutch confident to do a great qualif, and that lack of attention to what i was doing cought me, and DNF my qualif. But my best memory of a Qualif DNF wasnt Juan or Paul who blew his engine few feets before finish?, lol I felt sad, but find it funny same time, no mistake from him, just an dead engine.

You guys are getting realy suprisingly fast, and that makes me push more.

Thanks Bilbo for you race start  , i will see in replay, but i was not supose to climb up that fast, you may explain why, lol. If you did like we agreed, you said i can pay you by Paypall hey?

Sorry Xz, i couldnt resist, was a friendly vengence of your words toward me before start  Im still waiting for a close fight just like in practice, dont worry for me, even in race you can be more badboy with me 8) and if i spun, il will still be smyling that you kicked my ass, lol

Thanks Guys,

WOW !!!! What a race :)

My qualifying lap was ok, I was expecting it to be a little faster considerring my PB was a 1:33.045 but it was good enough for 4th on the grid.

The start was great, at T1 I found myself in 3rd behind Hitman, till he made a BOO BOO at T7 and he spun, OMG in 2nd place (never been there this season) well now my nervousness just jumped up a few more knotches.
I was constantly watching how close Hitman was behind me knowing a battle was comming very soon, then after the double left I saw the gap get alot bigger and figured Hitman spun.
So for a few laps I just tried to stay focused then looked again to see who was behind me....SHIT it was FLOW lol comming to the last turn before front straight I had a short brain freeze went onto the grass bounced off one guardrail crossed the track and smaked the opposite guardrail saw Flow pass me and I thought well thats my race done but pressed on to see if there was any damage and to my surprise there was none.

First round of pitstops comming up and I was worried this would be a repeat of the past 3 races that after my pitstop the car would be undriveable but it was great :)

My strategy was good and the 2nd place came back to me after everyone had done thier 1st pitstops so I knew that all I had to do was stay on track and keep my lap times consistant.

WOW AARON at the 1st pit stop as I left the pit box, you came in, it was almost like we had it timed like that......close call LOL

CONGRATS to FLOW and to all who finished it was a great race. :)

WOW so this is what the podium looks like...LMAO

Thanks Flow and Bilbo, I needed the jump in the standings, I should have been alot higher up but when you have 8 DNF's under your belt it doesn't help.
