RFactor sound immersion

Post by Ruben Miranda »

Hello Guys
I have been playing with a few of the sounds.
Not editing the sounds that where creating just there volume and stuff.
I am trying to use and get the sounds to help immeres me in to the game.
And what I have so far has really helped.
What I have changed or adjusted is in red.
If you would like to give them a try here they are (Please back up your plr file before editing)
You should be able to just copy & paste over makes life easier.

where's the RED...lol
JK Hitman :)

Does the changes affect the game at all or is it just for personal prefference?

Also are you raising some and lowering some sounds?

Hello
opps left the red out that way it can just copy and pasted over.

It do's not effect the game at all.
It is just a personal preference of sounds that I want to here more then others.
Example
The tire scrubbing sound you can here it better leading you to be able to push more or back off.

So yes it is that I have just lowered or raised certain sounds.
That help me get a better feeling of what the car is doing.

For me since we can not really feel the car I/we depend on the sound to tell us what is going on.

Would like to here what you think :D

cool thanks Hitman.

I agree I also listen to the tires in turns, if scrubbing too much I know I am pushing the limit of the car and I am able to back off right away without spinning.

GREAT idea and THANKS... :)

You know if you dont push the car you will be to slow :?

If you setup youre car right it doesnt care if you screw you tyres because if you do it right you can get as much scrubbing without wearing them out to much.

Besides isnt this making an advantage over other drivers who are not using it,.. in other words the word i wont call here. :D I know its not that behind it.
