Parcfeme

Post by Racer »

Are we gonna use parcfeme in the new season, :) (the amount of fuel and the tyres u use in Qualy that the one u gona start ure race with), i saw that in the 1.150 mod, u can set the server so that when u use a setup for qualy, that the 1 u gonna use for racing. :P shut be fun  ,
Only problem is dont think it will slow down those fast aliens cause they drive the same time as i they du in Qualy :(

but who nows Limp is working hard tu slowdown the times, let see if we gonna see some competitive times

thought this could be some nice action tu du in new Season

cyaa all on track 8)

interesting. As a suggestion, limpy shoud work on physic to make the amount of fuel put in car. When you fill up, the car should be heavier, cause can do 1 stop and be almost as fast as they were doing 3 stop!

I would imagine the weight of the fuel being pretty accurate but the placement of the fueltank (especially how high it is) whould play a pivotal role in slowing down laptimes. Although It would make cars really unpleasant to drive IMO.

thats the idea Noob, when u have full tank u supose tu be slower than a car that have lower fuel in tank,  other wise aint no reason for use the parcfeme rule,

if u ask me its more fun, if the Race finish is more close tu each other, especialy the laping, maybe back markers want get lapped so many time, :x

hehehe lol 8)

Well, i can almost qualif with race setup and do sligtly more slow that with a qualif setup. As i think, fuel shoud make a bigger difference.

In germany,
i do 16's to 14's with with 100L (36laps of fuel) 1 stop
i do 15's to 14's with with 30L (17laps of fuel) 3 stop

Maybe its normal (?)

Well, I think we may be damaged a bit from the fact that we are used to f1 from the time when full fuel load meant fuel for full race distance. (At least I am)
Nowdays if you look at the quali sessions you will see that the time difference isn't that big.
This varies on circuits but still, the top guys are normally faster in Q3 on a race fuel load than in Q2.
Ok, you might say they don't push in Q2 but even the 9th 10th guys are only showing around a one second drop between Q2 and Q3.
And they obviously had to push in Q2 to get to Q3.
So I don't think it is all that different.
The ultimate decider is not 60 or 120 l of fuel. It is 20 or 40 laps on the same rubber.

More to the point Flow.. do u imagine you could do that '14 laptime on lap 35?

Noob,

I not totaly agree with you about the difference between Q2 and 3.
most off the time they are indeed 1 sec slower. but think about the amount off fuel they have on board after doing the first 12 mins off doing laps. most off the time they do around 9 to 10 laps in quali. and in race they stop in lap 18 till 22. at least when they are on a 3 stopper.
so that means that they are on less then 10 laps fuel on there last lap in quali. 10 laps off fuel is lets say 35 ltr. and 35 ltrs is about 0,7 sec difference. so there you have your difference.
so 70 ltr on board. is 1,4 sec. and when you are planning to do a longer stint then 100ltr. its already 2 sec to the quali time.

I know its not realy the way i sugest. but it comes close. so in real racing the fuel difference is a real mater of doing fast laps.
